المستخلص: الصورة هي الإطار الذي يصب الشاعر ما تفوح وتموج في نفسه تجاه الوقائع لإلقائه على المخاطب وتحريك مشاعره وإحساساته. للصورة، مؤشرات وأجزاء بناءة كاللون، الفكرة، العاطفة والخيال وفي علاقتها مع البعض، تعكس صورة إجمالية من نص أدبي ما. اهتم النقاد والأدباء وعلماء البلاغة منذ القديم بدراسة الصورة لأنها تقوم بدور فعال في إيصال التجارب الشعرية إلى الآخرين. تجعل أساليب التصوير المختلفة عمل الشاعر الفني أشد وضوحا وأكثر ظرافة وهي ظاهرة وجدناها في كثير من قصائد المتنبي في وصف معارك سيف الدولة الذي استعان بأنواع الصور ليرسم لوحة مما يريد إلقائه على القارئ وليزيد عمله لأدبي جمالا ورونقا للتأثير فيه. هذا البحث تناول دراسة الصورة التشبيهية، في معارك سيف الدولة للمتنبي معتمدا على منهج وصفي - تحليلي يتجسد في القيام بدراسة مضمون الصورة نظريا، ثم التطرق إلى الموضوع الرئيسي يحتوي الأبيات التي استخدم فيها الشاعر أنواع التشبيه إضافة إلى تناسب وتناسق الصورة بالغاية المستهدفة فهي كثيرا ما تصور حالة الأبطال، الجرحى، القتلى، أدوات الحرب وكثرة الجنود. من النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث أن المتنبي رسم لوحات شعرية خلابة في توصيف معارك سيف الدولة فللخيل، الجيش، الجنود، العدو وساحة القتال تشبيهات رائعة وجميلة. كذلك للألوان دور هام في شعر المتنبي فاستخدم لون الأحمر والأزرق لترسيم شدة القتال ونزف الدماء.

Of the image, indicators and constructive parts such as color, thought, passion and imagination, and in relation to others, reflect an overall picture of a good text. Critics, writers, and scholars have been interested since ancient times in studying the image because they play an active role in communicating poetry experiences to others. The different techniques of photography make the work of the artistic poet clearer and more visible, and we find it in many of the poems in the description of the opponent of the sword of the States, who used the types of pictures to paint his plate, which he wanted to give to the readers and to increase his work to a beautiful beauty and splendor to influence it. In this study, the study of the structural picture, in the context of the state spectrum of the respondent, is based on a descriptive-analytic approach, which is reflected in the study of the content of the image in theory, and then on the main topic, which contains the verses in which the poet uses the types of communication, as well as the suitability and consistency of the target image, The situation of the heroes, the wounded, the killers, the tools of war and the multitude of soldiers. One of the findings of the research is that the forerunner of drawing the paintings in the sword of the state, the army, the soldiers, the enemy and the battlefield are wonderful and beautiful. The colors also play an important role in the poetry of the prophet
