المستخلص: إن الانفراج الفكري الذي حصل لمدرسة أهل البيت عليهم السلام في عهد الإمام الصادق عليه السلام كان كبيرا قياسا للعهود السابقة التي مرت بها الأمة الإسلامية، وأسباب هذا الانفراج كثيرة وأهمها ضعف الحكم الأموي وانهياره، وضعف بداية الحكم العباسي، فكان من الطبيعي ان ينشغل الحكام عن رموز أهل البيت عليهم السلام، لذلك كان عليه السلام بعيدا عن المواجهة السياسية العلنية، فحصل فراغ واضح استغله الإمام الصادق عليه السلام في نشر علومه العديد والكبيرة، ومن ثم أدى إلى كثرة الإنتاج العلمي له عليه السلام وكثرة مروياته التي أطلقها لنشر العلوم والفكر الإسلامي ومنها علم السيرة.
ولعله لم يدر في خلد بعضهم أن للإمام الصادق عليه السلام مادة تاريخية في السيرة النبوية، ويستند أصحاب هذا الرأي إلى أن الإمام الصادق عليه السلام سلك في أحاديثه جانب الوعظ والإرشاد وأمورا أخرى تحمل الطابع الديني والعقائدي، وهذا ليس صحيحا، بل يعد دليلا على عدم الاطلاع والمعرفة بثروته العلمية الكبيرة التي خلفها لنا عليه السلام، فهذا البحر المتلاطم الأمواج من العلم الموروث عن آبائه عليهم السلام, وجده صلى الله عليه وسلم كان كافيا لتزويدنا بما نحن بحاجة إليه من المادة التاريخية للسيرة المباركة، بل إن مروياته من السعة والشمول بما لا يستطيع أي باحث الإلمام بها.


The intellectual breakthrough that occurred to the school of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, during the era of Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, was great compared to previous eras that the Islamic nation passed through. There are many reasons for this breakthrough, the most important of which is the weakness of the Umayyad rule and its collapse, and the weakness of the beginning of the Abbasid rule, so it was natural for rulers to be distracted from symbols of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them. Therefore, He, peace be upon him was far from the overt political confrontation and got a clear void that the Imam Al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, used in the dissemination of his many and great sciences, and then led to the abundance of scientific production of him, peace be upon him, and a large number of his narrations that he reported in order to spread science and Islamic thought, including biography.
Perhaps it did not occur to anyone that Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, has a historical subject in the Prophet's biography. People of this opinion rely on the fact that the Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, followed in his Hadiths the aspect of preaching and guidance and other issues having a religious and ideological character, and this is not correct. Rather it is evidence of lack of knowledge and information of his great scientific wealth that he, peace be upon him, left for us. This rough sea of knowledge inherited from his forefathers, peace be upon them, and grandfather, may Allah's peace and mercy be upon him, was sufficient to provide us with what we need from the historical subject of the blessed biography. Rather, his narrations are broad and comprehensive, which no researcher can be aware of.
