المستخلص: This research is a study and investigation of the book "The adequacy of qunwa in the abbreviation of the sum" of the scholar Muhammad bin Muhammad Sabt al-Mardini, and the subject of the book is the science of the statutes, arithmetic, and wills. The Book of Majmoo 'al-Fara’id, by Allama Muhammad ibn Ashraf al- Kalai, by combining the issues that are dispersed with one another, removing the repetition, and adding to it important rules, issues and examples, and more in it than the issues in the computation of the statutes, and the calculation of wills. The book included: the causes of inheritance, its contraindications, the inheritors, the estimated assumptions, the owners of the assumptions, the gangs and their divisions, the origins of the issues, and mentioned ten important rules in the science of the obligatory prayers. Then he mentioned the section of reckoning, so he mentioned important rules in numbers, multiplying it, and extracting the account of statutes, then he mentioned practical issues at the expense of statutes that amounted to more than a hundred issues. Then he mentioned the provisions of the commandments: He mentioned the rules, controls and provisions related to this section, and mentioned ninety-three application matters in the section of calculating the wills, then the book concluded with twenty-two issues that he called Meccan issues, so the total of applied issues in this book reached (242) issues. The work in this book was divided into two parts: a study section and a verified text section. The study section included a brief translation of the author and the definition of the book, and the second section is an investigation of the book in three written copies.

هذا البحث هو دراسة وتحقيق لكتاب "كفاية القنوع في اختصار المجموع" للعلامة محمد بن محمد سبط المارديني، وموضوع الكتاب هو علم الفرائض، والحساب، والوصايا، فقد اشتمل على ثلاثة علوم مترابطة، وكتاب "كفاية القنوع" اختصر فيه مؤلفه، ورتب، وهذب "كتاب المجموع في الفرائض" للعلامة محمد بن أشرف الكلائي. وذلك بضم المسائل المنثورة بعضها إلى بعض، وحذف المكرر، وزاد عليه قواعد، ومسائل وأمثلة مهمة، وأكثر فيه من المسائل في حساب الفرائض، وحساب الوصايا. ولقد تضمن الكتاب: أسباب الإرث، وموانعه، والوارثين، والفروض المقدرة، وأصحاب الفروض، والعصبات وأقسامها، وأصول المسائل، وذكر عشر قواعد مهمة في علم الفرائض. ثم ذكر باب الحساب، فذكر فيه قواعد مهمة في الأعداد، وضربها، واستخراج حساب الفرائض، ثم ذكر مسائل تطبيقية على حساب الفرائض بلغت أكثر من مائة مسألة. ثم ذكر أحكام الوصايا: فذكر فيه القواعد والضوابط والأحكام المتعلقة بهذا الباب، وذكر ثلاث وتسعين مسألة تطبيقية في باب حساب الوصايا، ثم ختم الكتاب باثنتين وعشرين مسألة أسماها بالمسائل المكية، فبلغ مجموع المسائل التطبيقية في هذا الكتاب (242) مسألة. وقد قسمت العمل في هذا الكتاب إلى قسمين: قسم للدراسة، وقسم للنص المحقق؛ فاشتمل قسم الدراسة على ترجمة موجزة للمؤلف. وعلى التعريف بالكتاب. والقسم الثاني هو تحقيق للكتاب على ثلاث نسخ خطية.
