المستخلص: Faced with the challenges raised by sustainable development, the state's disengagement from meeting unmet social needs is added to this. In this context, economic social actors are questioning their roles and want to undertake proactive social responsibility initiatives. However, they generally have few means to achieve their goals. The purpose of this paper is to show that social entrepreneurship, as a means of solving social problems, can provide a framework for analysis in order to respond to the major challenges posed by sustainable development.

Face aux défis soulevés par le développement durable s’ajoute à cela le désengagement de l’Etat à satisfaire des besoins sociaux non couverts. Dans ce contexte, des acteurs sociaux économiques, s’interrogent sur leurs rôles et souhaitent engager des démarches volontaristes de responsabilité sociale. Cependant, ils disposent, généralement, de peu de moyens leur permettant de concrétiser leurs objectifs. L’objet de cette communication est de montrer que l’entrepreneuriat social, en tant que moyen impliqué à la résolution de problèmes sociaux, peut offrir un cadre d’analyse afin d’apporter une réponse aux défis majeurs posés par le développement durable.
