تعد السياحة في الوقت الراهن موردا اقتصاديا مهما يسهم بفاعلية متزايدة في الناتج الإجمالي لكثير من دول العالم، وانطلاقا من أهمية السياحة لتنمية الموارد الوطنية، وكذلك اعتماد قطاعات السياحة والتراث الوطني كأحد أهم العناصر الأساسية في رؤية المملكة 2030 وبرنامج التحول الوطني، وأحد أبرز البدائل لاقتصادات ما بعد النفط، لذلك فالسياحة في المملكة تمر بنقلة نوعية مهمة بعد اعتمادها في مشروع رؤية المملكة التي أقرها خادم الحرمين الشريفين كقطاعين أساسيين لمستقبل المملكة انطلاقا من أهميتها الاقتصادية والتنموية، من هذا المنطلق ترى الباحثتان أن التراث الشعبي العسيري يمكن أن يلعب دورا كبيرا في تنمية وتنشيط السياحة في المنطقة الجنوبية (عسير)، من خلال تصميم وتنفيذ بعض المفروشات الفندقية لتنمية وتنشيط السياحة بمنطقه عسير وهذا ما يسعي البحث الحالي التوصل إليه بالدراسة والتحليل. هدفت الدراسة إلى توظيف بعض الزخارف العسيري في تصميم بعض المفروشات الفندقية، استحداث تصميمات معاصرة للمفروشات تحافظ على أصالة الزخارف العسيري، إبراز دور الزخارف العسيري كمؤثر رئيس في تنمية وتنشيط السياحة، تثقيف السائح ببعض من الزخارف والتراث العسيري. وقد تم تنفيذ أحد عشر تصميم من تصميمات المفروشات الفندقية. وتم استخدام نوعين من الاستبانات: - -الأول: -موجه إلي المحكمين (أكاديميين-أرباب العمل بمجال السياحة). -الثاني: -موجه إلي عدد من السائحين الذين يترددوا على الفنادق بمدينة أبها السياحية. وجاءت النتائج الإحصائية مؤكدة على أن التصميمات المقترحة تميزت بتوافر أسس التصميم من ترابط واتزان للوحدات الزخرفية وتعبر الصياغة التشكيلية للوحدة الزخرفية عن السمات المميزة للزخارف العسيري والتصميم المقترح يحافظ على أصالة الزخارف العسيري وصلاحية القطع المنفذة مع الغرض الوظيفي وكذلك توافر الناحية الجمالية في القطع المنفذة.

After the oil, so tourism in the Kingdom is undergoing a significant qualitative transition after its adoption in the project of the vision of the Kingdom, which was approved by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques as two main sectors for the future of the Kingdom based on its economic and developmental importance, Rath Al- Shaabi Al-Assiri can play a major role in the development and revitalization of tourism in the southern region (Asir), through the design and implementation of some hotel furnishings for the development and revitalization of tourism in Asir. The study aimed at using some of the ornamental decorations in the design of some hotel furnishings, creating contemporary designs for furnishings that preserve the originality of the asiri decorations, to highlight the role of the asiri decorations as a major influence in the development and revitalization of tourism, educating the tourist with some decorations and the Asiri heritage. Eleven designs of hotel furnishings have been implemented. Two types of questionnaires were used: - The first: - addressed to the arbitrators (academics - employers in the field of tourism). -Second: - addressed to a number of tourists who frequented the hotels in Abha tourist city. The statistical results indicated that the design designs were characterized by the availability of the design foundations of the correlation and balance of the decorative units. The decorative formulation of the decorative unit expresses the distinctive features of the decorative decoration and the proposed design preserves the authenticity of the ornamental decorations and the validity of the objects executed with the functional purpose.
