520 |b The local history has witnessed a remarkable development during these recent decades, and it has also enriched historical research. However, such an evolution is not uniform neither in geographical areas nor in periods. The state of the Middle Age research proves it. In fact, monographic medieval Maghrib studies face a lot of materialist and methodological obstacles and difficulties. 
520 |d L’histoire locale a connu un essor remarquable durant ces dernières décennies et vient enrichir les études historiques. Seulement, cette évolution n’est pas uniforme ni pour toutes les aires géographiques, ni pour toutes les périodes. L’état des lieux de la recherche sur le Maghreb au Moyen Âge le prouve. En effet, la recherche monographique sur ce sujet fait face à maints obstacles, soit d’ordre matériel, comme le manqué de sources, soit d’ordre méthodologique lié au choix et appartenances des transmetteurs du savoir.
