المستخلص: لم تكن مساندة الجزائر للحركات التحررية إلا امتدادا لمبادئ ثورتها التي ما زالت تؤمن بحق الشعوب في تقرير المصير، تصديقا منها إلى تأكيد كل صوت يصح لكسر قيود الاستعباد والهيمنة، فنجحت الثورة الجزائرية في جعل القضية الجزائرية قضية إفريقية بامتياز، واحتلت الصدارة على الساحة السياسية الإفريقية وفي كل اللقاءات القارية. كان في تصور فرنسا أن التخلص من مشاكل مستعمراتها في إفريقيا يتيح لها الفرصة وتجميع قواتها لاحتواء ثورة الجزائر والقضاء عليها، بيد أن حساباتها فشلت وذهبت أدراج الرياح، فتحررت إفريقيا كلها من جبروت الاستعمار الفرنسي. فالشعوب المستعمرة الإفريقية وزعمائها كانت تنظر إلى الجزائر كنموذج للتحرر والاستقلال من براثن الاستدمار الغربي الأوروبي.
