المستخلص: With the drop in oil prices, Algeria has given priority to the establishment of a diversified public industrial base whose production was exclusively for the domestic market. Approaching a new industrial ambition, the development prospects of the Algerian economy are closely linked to its potential for diversification, which can be exploited notably through the implementation of the levers of the deployment of the industry. However, the industrial sector is hampered by major stakes, which prevent it from developing, despite the various reforms and initiatives to revive it that have been doomed to failure and without a significant effect on this sector that is barely always to prosper. This article aims to present the main directives of the industrial strategy put in place by the public authorities, and then analyze the impact of these different policies and industrial strategies on the development of the Algerian industrial fabric in a context where the Algerian economy Strongly needs sound economic diversification, while trying to understand the main reasons for the failure of these policies and their weak effect on the take-off of the Algerian industrial sector.

Avec la baisse des prix du pétrole, l’Algérie a accordé la priorité à la mise en place d’une base industrielle publique diversifiée, dont la production était exclusivement destinée au marché intérieur. Approche pour une nouvelle ambition industrielle, les perspectives de développement de l’économie algérienne sont étroitement liées à son potentiel de diversification, qui peut-être exploité notamment à travers la mise en place des leviers du déploiement de l’industrie. Or, le secteur industriel est entravé par des enjeux de taille, qui l’empêchent de se développer, et ce malgré les différentes réformes et initiatives pour le relancer qui ont été vouées à l’échec et sans un effet important sur ce secteur qui peine toujours à prospérer. Cet article a pour objectif de présenter les principales directives de la stratégie industrielle mises en place par les autorités publiques, et puis d’analyser l’impact de ces différentes politiques et stratégies industrielles sur le développement du tissu industriel algérien dans un contexte où l’économie algérienne a fortement besoin d’une diversification économique solide, tout en essayant d’appréhender les principales raisons d’échec de ces politiques et leur faible effet sur le décollage du secteur industriel algérien.
