The political participation is among the demands of the Moroccan community resident abroad. This participation is seen as a kind of partake in the development of the country of origin. Indeed, Morocco experienced a single experience of political participation of the MRA in 1984,however, currently this participation could not take place even if the supreme law already grants to the MRA the right to enjoy their full citizenship as Moroccans. This article will present some challenges that restrain the political participation of MRA, especially the application of voting methods known internationally, we based our research on a field survey carried out as part of the preparation of a doctoral thesis on The Moroccan international migration. It was founded on the triangulation method which contains observation, interviews, and a questionnaire directed to 182 MRA from the Oriental region of Morocco who settle six European countries. la participation politique est parmi les revendications de la communauté marocaine résidente à l’étranger. Cette participation est vue comme une sorte de participation au développement du pays d’origine. En effet, le Maroc a connu une seule et unique expérience relative à la participation politique des MRE en 1984. Pourtant actuellement, cette participation n’a pas pu avoir lieu, même si la loi suprême octroie aux MRE le droit de jouir de leur pleine citoyenneté. Cet article, présentera quelques défis qui entravent la participation politique des MRE, surtout, l’application des modalités de vote connues à l’échelle internationale, en se basant sur une enquête sur terrain réalisée dans le cadre de la préparation d’une thèse doctorale, sur la migration internationale marocaine. L’enquête, s’est basée sur l’observation, les entretiens, et un questionnaire destiné à 182 MRE originaires de la région de l’Oriental dans six pays européens. |
