The aim of this study was to construct a measure of emotional intelligence according to the Bar-On model for the fifth grade students, considering that emotional intelligence is a mixture of abilities, skills and social competencies according to the Bar-On model. The sample consisted of (50) students and students From the Bilal School, affiliated to the Department of Sharabiyya. In order to achieve this goal, the researcher constructed the emotional intelligence scale consisting of five main dimensions and five ten subdivisions after reviewing the measures that were previously used to measure the dimensions of emotional intelligence, as most of them are aduls and university students. Each dimension of the researcher by measuring all the paragraphs such as, (25) paragraph for personal intelligence, (15) paragraph for interpersonal intelligence, (10) paragraphs to manage the pressures, (15) adaptive paragraph, (10) paragraphs of the general mood, The three scales of the emotional intelligence measure (Always- sometimes- rarely) are given to each of the three scales to suit the age of the sample to measure the emotional intelligence. After the application of the measure on the sample, the computational properties were calculated (Validity and stability). The global empirical study concluded that the scale consists of five decimals with statistically significant determinants and achieved good conformance with all indicators of good conformance (GFI = 853, NFI = .599, IFI = 1.041, CFI = 1.000, RMSEA = 0.00). The scale also marked a significant degree of the correlation coefficients ranged from (0.399 to 0.707). For stability, Where the coefficient of stability of alpha between (0.450- 0.752), and ranged stability coefficients half-split after corrected together Between him Spearman Brown (0.288- 0.785), illustrating the enjoyment of the characteristics of the scale psychometric reliable measure of intelligence dimensions of emotional sample at the primary school children.
