|a تناول هذه الدراسة الدول التي يمكن أن نطلق عليها شرق أفريقيا جغرافيا وهي الدول التي تقع في شرق القارة الأفريقية من شمالها إلى جنوبها، دون الدخول في أي اعتبارات للتقسيم السياسي أو لتصنيف الأمم المتحدة أو لمسميات تصنيف الاستعمار كمسمى دول شرق أفريقيا البريطانية أو دول شرق أفريقيا الألمانية، وفي الحدود المكانية لهذه الدراسة سيتم ضم جميع دول الشرق الإفريقي جغرافيا لعدة اعتبارات أهمها أنه لا يوجد تصنيف لدى رابطة العالم الإسلامي عن شرق أفريقيا ودولها، فالتقارير السنوية الخاصة بالرابطة والهيئات التابعة لها وكذلك الخطابات الرسمية للرابطة التي تختص بقارة أفريقيا لا تشير إلى تصنيف محدد، وثانيا أنها جميعا إما دول إسلامية، أو دول بها أقليات إسلامية، وكلاهما تحظيان بعناية كبيرة من الرابطة منذ أن تأسست، كذلك كما أشرنا سابقا إلى أنه حسب علم الباحث لا يوجد دراسة تناولت جهود رابطة العالم الإسلامي في شرق أفريقيا في عهد الملك فهد بن عبد العزيز آل سعود.

|b This study examined the countries that we can call East Africa geographically, which are the countries located in the east of the African continent from north to south, without entering into any considerations for political division or the classification of the United Nations or the designations of colonial classification as the name of British East African countries or countries German East Africa, and within the spatial boundaries of this study, all East African countries will be geographically included for several considerations, the most important of which is that there is no classification for the Muslim World League on East Africa and its countries, as the annual reports of the Association and its affiliated bodies as well as the official letters of the Association that specialize The continent of Africa does not refer to a specific classification, and secondly, they are all either Islamic countries, or countries with Islamic minorities, and both have received great care from the League since it was founded, as we have previously indicated that, according to the researcher's knowledge, there is no study that dealt with the efforts of the World League Islam in East Africa during the reign of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
