المستخلص: تناولت هذه الدراسة بعض النواحي الإدارية والقانونية والأحوال الاجتماعية والاقتصادية في قصبة الكرك جنوب شرقي الأردن، من خلال دفتر قرارات حاكم الحقوق في محكمة الكرك في الفترة الواقعة بين عامي 1919- 1922م في محاولة رصد أبرز ملامح البناء الإداري والقضائي والأنماط الاجتماعية والاقتصادية في المنطقة في تلك الفترة، متضمنة القوانين المعمول بها في المحاكمات والوظائف والمصطلحات الإدارية والمحامون والضرائب والرسوم التي تتقاضها المحكمة وكذلك أسماء العشائر والعائلات، والألقاب الاجتماعية في مطلع عهد إمارة شرقي الأردن، أو الألقاب التي احتفظ بها أصحابها في أواخر الحكم العثماني، فضلا عن أنواع المهن والزراعات وتربية الحيوانات ومنتجاتها، والنواحي العمرانية، وأشكال التبادل التجاري، والنقود والأوزان المستخدمة في تلك الفترة في قصبة الكرك. وبينت الدراسة أن دفاتر القرارات الخاصة بمحاكم الحقوق في المحاكم في شرقي الأردن تعد سجلا تاريخيا حيا يمكن من خلاله تشكيل مادة تاريخية، تسلط الضوء على ملامح التطور الاجتماعي والاقتصادي. وتسجل أنماط حياة السكان من مختلف المجالات، وطرائق عيشهم وسكنهم، ولم يسبق أن اعتمدت مصدرا في دراسات سابقة. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واعتمدت المعطيات والمعلومات التي وردت في السجل، على أساس تصنيفها وتبويبها واستخراجها اعتمادا على الموضوع الرئيس للبحث.

This study addresses the administrative and legal aspects and the social and economic conditions of the Karak Center in southeastern Jordan through the records of the rulings made by the Courts of Rights in the Karak Court between 1919 and 1922. The article tracks the most prominent features of the administrative and judicial structures in place, and the social and economic patterns that prevailed in the region during those years, including such topics as the laws in place for trials and employment, administrative terms, lawyers, taxes and fees charged by the court along with the names of clans and families, and the social titles in the early years of the Emirate of Transjordan, or the titles held at the of Ottoman rule, as well as the types of professions, agriculture, animal husbandry and their products, urban aspects, and forms of trade exchange, money and measures used in that period in the Center of Karak. The study showed that the records of the rulings of the courts of rights in the courts in Trans-Jordan are a living historical record through which historical material can be formed, highlighting the features of social and economic development, and records the lifestyles of the population from various angles, and their daily life and housing styles, these records have not been used as a source in any previous study. The study followed the descriptive analytical method, and adopted the data and information mentioned in the records, based on sorting, classifying, and extracting them according the main goal of this study.
