المستخلص: The research aimed to design a Stressful life Events scale for Parents of the Visually impaired, and make sure its psychometric characteristics and know its factorial structure. The research sample consisted of (141) from Parents of the visually impaired students from (55) males, (86) females and ranged ages them between 22- 55 years with an average (35‚21) and with a standard deviation (6‚66). The research used a Stressful life Events scale (preparation researchers). The results of the statistical analysis of the data using factorial analysis lead to five factors that related to a Stressful life Events scale among Parents of the Visually impaired. These factors are :(the family Stress) has reached its root underlying (8‚33), and the proportion of variability (23‚26%) and (the educational Stress) has reached its root underlying (9‚57), and the proportion of variability (25‚33%), and (the economical Stress) has reached its root underlying (7‚68), and the proportion of variability (21‚45), and (the psychological Stress), has reached its root underlying (6,06), the proportion of variability (16‚92%), and (the social Stress), has reached its root underlying (4,67), and the proportion of variability (13‚54%). The present scale has a high degree of reliability and validity which makes it suitable for the Parents of the Visually impaired,. Further and, it can be used in the researches and the Arab studies for the Parents of the visually impaired in the Egyptian and the Arabian environment. Finally, there is a confidence in the results that can be achieved by using that scale.

هدف البحث الحالي إلى بناء مقياس أحداث الحياة الضاغطة لأولياء أمور المعاقين بصريا، والتأكد من خصائصه السيكومترية ومعرفة البناء العاملي له، وتكونت عينة البحث من (١٤١) من أولياء أمور الطلاب المعاقين بصريا منهم (٥٥) ذكورا و(٨٦) إناثا، وتراوحت أعمارهم بين 22- 50 عاما، بمتوسط عمري قدره (35.21) وانحراف معياري قدره (6.66)، واستخدم البحث مقياس أحداث الحياة الضاغطة (إعداد الباحثين)، وأسفرت نتائج التحليل الإحصائي للبيانات باستخدام التحليل العاملي عن وجود خمسة عوامل لمقياس أحداث الحياة الضاغطة لأولياء أمور المعاقين بصريا، هي الضغوط الأسرية، وقد بلغ جذره الكامن (8.33)، ونسبة تباينه (23.26 %)، والضغوط الدراسية، وقد بلغ جذره الكامن (9.07)، ونسبة تباينه (25.33 %)، والضغوط الاقتصادية، وقد بلغ جذره الكامن (7.68) ونسبة تباينه (21.45 %)، والضغوط النفسية، وقد بلغ جذره الكامن (6.06)، ونسبة تباينه (16.92 %) والضغوط الاجتماعية، وقد بلغ جذره الكامن (4.67)، ونسبة تباينه (13.04 %)، وأن المقياس يتمتع بدرجة عالية من الثبات والصدق، مما يؤكد أن المقياس يصلح استخدامه مع أولياء أمور المعاقين بصريا، ويمكن استخدامه في البحوث والدراسات العربية الخاصة بأولياء أمور المعاقين بصريا في البيئة المصرية والعربية والثقة في النتائج التي يمكن التوصل إليها من خلال استخدامه.
