|a شهد العلم مؤخرا اهتماما بالغا بالمسنين الأمر الذي مهد الطريق لتصاعد موجات فكرية حول ضرورة توعية الشباب بتفعيل دورهم تجاه المسنين كمحاولة منهم لرد الجميل ولتدعيم أواصر التكافل بينهم، واستهدفت الدراسة التعرف على واقع المشاركة المجتمعية للشباب في رعاية كبار السن مع وضع رؤية مستقبلية لتفعيل دورهم كما هو مأمول، ويندرج البحث ضمن نمط البحوث الوصفية واستخدم أسلوب المسح الاجتماعي بالعينة وبلغ عددها 50 شاب، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم اعداد استمارة استبيان لوصف مدى تأثير جودة الدور الفعلي للشباب في رعاية المسنين مع توضيح المعوقات والمقترحات الخاصة بتفعيل دورهم، ومن نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى الدور الفعلي للشباب في رعاية المسنين في وقتنا الراهن متوسطا، ومن المعوقات التي تواجههم كثرة الاحتياجات الصحية للمسنين، وضيق وقتهم لانشغالهم بمستقبلهم، ومن مقترحات تفعيل دورهم زيادة معدلات تطوعهم بمؤسسات رعاية المسنين، وتنظيم الجامعات لزيارات ميدانية لتدريبهم على العمل الإنساني، وزيادة الاهتمام بتشجيع البحث العلمي في مجال رعاية المسنين، واختتمت الدراسة برؤية مستقبلية وبتوصيات لتفعيل دورهم.

|b The world has recently witnessed a great interest in the elderly, which paved the way for the rise of intellectual waves about the need to educate the youth to activate their role towards the elderly as an attempt to restore the beauty and strengthen the bonds of solidarity between them, the study aimed to identify the reality of community participation of youth in caring for the elderly with a future vision to activate their role as it is The study included a sample questionnaire to assess the impact of the quality of the actual role of youth in the care of the elderly, with clarification of the obstacles and special proposals, and the results of the study that the level of the actual role of young people in the care of the elderly at the present time average, and the obstacles faced by the many health needs of the elderly, and the lack of time for their preoccupation with their future, and proposals to activate their role increase rates of volunteering institutions for the care of the elderly, and organize universities for field visits to train them on humanitarian work, and increased interest in promoting scientific research in the field of care for the elderly, the study concluded with a vision and recommendations for activating their role.
