الحكمة محض فضل من الله يمنحها من يشاء من عباده فمن مستقل ومستكثر، فأصلها هبة ومنحة والزيادة فيها مكتسبة تقبل التنمية والتطوير. ولما للحكمة من أهمية بالغة وأساس رصين في استمرار الدعوة إلى الله تعالي على ضوء مستجدات العصر، وشدة حاجة الناس إليها: أراد الباحث أن يدلي بدلوه مع الدلاء في الكتابة عن هذا الموضوع الهام، والجدير بالذكر أن الجديد في هذا الموضوع يتمثل في ترتيبه وتقديمه وطريقة عرضه على نحو ييسر استيعابه ويشجع على تطبيقه، أما أن يكون الجديد فيه بشيء لم يسبق الأوائل إليه فمتعذر، والتأليف عبارة مؤالفة العبارات مع بعضها البعض ووضعها في سياق يمكن استيعابه وواقع التأليف كما قيل: " خذ من هنا وضع هنا وقل مؤلفه أنا". وقد حرص الباحث على الاختصار غير المخل ما أمكن؛ نظرا لشروط قبول البحث في كرسي سماحة الإمام عبد العزيز بن باز- رحمه الله- وأن من شروطه أن لا يزيد عن ثلاثين صفحة؛ لذلك لم يقم هذا البحث على الاستقصاء والحصر، وإنما قام على ما يحصل به أقل الواجب، والله المستعان. وقد جاءت مباحث هذا الموضوع على النحو الاتي: المبحث الأول: تعريف الحكمة لغة واصطلاحا. المبحث الثاني: خصائص الحكمة ومعالمها. المبحث الثالث: نماذج من الحكمة في حياة الدعاة. سائلا الله العلي القدير أن ينفعني بهذا العمل وأن يجعله خالصا صوابا، إنه خير مسؤول وأكرم مجيب وصلي الله وسلم على عبده ورسوله وصفيه من خلقه سيدنا ونبينا محمد وعلي آله وصحبه أجمعين.
