إن تحديد القدرة التنافسية لقطاع ما أو لصناعة معينة أو لمؤسسة، يتم من خلال تحليل الأداء التنافسي لها، لذلك تناولت هذه الدراسة تحليل واقع القدرة التنافسية لقطاع الصناعة التحويلية في العراق، من خلال دراسة مؤشرات محددة للحكم على مستوى الأداء فيها وهي كل من: مؤشر مساهمة قطاع الصناعة التحويلية في هيكل الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، مؤشر قيمة الإنتاج لقطاع الصناعة التحويلية، مؤشر عدد المؤسسات الصناعية العاملة في قطاع الصناعة التحويلية وعدد العاملين فيها، وتم أيضا تحليل محددات القدرة التنافسية لقطاع الصناعة التحويلية في العراق على وفق نموذج بورتر، وقياس مدى التأثيرات المتبادلة ما بين جميع أجزاء النموذج من أجل الاستدلال على حجم تأثير كل عامل بشكل منفرد، ومدى إسهامه في رفع القدرة التنافسية لهذا القطاع الحيوي، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى عرض مجموعة من الإجراءات التي يمكن اتباعها لدعم القدرة التنافسية لقطاع الصناعات التحويلية في العراق.
The determination of the competitiveness of any sector, industry or organization is determined by analyzing its competitive performance, Therefore, this study focused on the analysis of the reality of the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector in Iraq, through the study of specific indicators to judge the level of performance in it. It is the index of the contribution of the manufacturing sector to the structure of GDP, the value of production index of the manufacturing sector, the number of employees and the number of industrial establishments operating in the manufacturing sector, The determinants of the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector in Iraq were also analyzed according to the Porter model, and the extent of the mutual effects between all parts of the model in order to infer the magnitude of the impact of each factor individually, and how it contributes to raising the competitiveness of this vital sector. The study concluded to present a set of measures that can be followed to support the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector in Iraq.
