المستخلص: تعد الموانئ أحد أهم عناصر النقل البحري، وتكتسب الموانئ البحرية التونسية أهمية محورية في خدمة حركة التجارة الخارجية؛ بسبب الموقع الجغرافي المتميز للجمهورية التونسية، وطول سواحلها التي تمتد لنحو 1357 كيلو متر على البحر المتوسط. ومن بين هذه الموانئ ميناء صفاقس الذي يسهم بنصيب وافر في المبادلات التجارية لتونس؛ نظرا لقربه من خطوط الملاحة العالمية في البحر المتوسط. وتتبلور أهداف الدراسة في عدة نقاط منها إبراز دور العوامل الجغرافية في اختيار موقع الميناء وموضعه، ودراسة العلاقات المكانية للميناء من خلال تحديد مجاله الأرضي والبحري، بالإضافة إلى تحليل واقع حركة النقل في الميناء، والتعرف على المشكلات التي تواجهه. وانتهت الدراسة إلى أن ميناء صفاقس يتمتع بموقع جغرافي فريد بحكم قربه من موانئ أوروبا (الشريك الاقتصادي الرئيس لتونس)، وقد لعبت شبكة الطرق البرية والسكك الحديدية التي تربط الميناء بعدد من الولايات التونسية دورا مهما في اتساع رقعة ظهيره، كما يواجه الميناء عدة مشكلات مثل: التلوث البحري، وقصور خدمات إصلاح وصيانة السفن، وانخفاض كفاءة أرصفة الحاويات، وتكدس البضائع عليها.

Ports are considered one of the most important elements of maritime transport, and Tunisian maritime ports are of central importance in the service of foreign trade movement. Because of the distinguished geographical location of the Republic of Tunisia, and the length of its coastline that extends for about 1357 km on the Mediterranean. Among these ports is the port of Sfax, which contributes a large share of trade exchanges to Tunisia; Because of its proximity to the global shipping lines in the Mediterranean. The objectives of the study are crystallized in several points, including highlighting the role of geographical factors in choosing the port's location and location, and studying the spatial relationships of the port by defining its terrestrial and maritime field, in addition to analyzing the reality of transport traffic in the port, and identifying the problems facing it. The study concluded that the port of Sfax enjoys a unique geographical location due to its proximity to the ports of Europe (the main economic partner for Tunisia), and the road and rail network linking the port with a number of Tunisian states has played an important role in the expansion of its back, as the port faces several problems such as: Marine pollution, inadequate ship repair and maintenance services, low container docking efficiency, and stockpiling of goods.
