|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف مستوى التزام الكويتيين بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي لمواجهة فيروس (كوفيد-19) وعلاقته بالصلابة النفسية وبعض المتغيرات الديموغرافية، وتكونت عينة الدراسة النهائية من (552) من الكويتيين، وتضمنت هذه الدراسة المقاييس الآتية: مقياس التباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي لمواجهة فيروس (كوفيد-19)، وتم التحقق من ثبات المقياس باستخدام طريقة معامل ألفا وبلغت (0,79)، وصدق المحكمين والصدق العاملي للمقياس، ومقياس الصلابة النفسية، وتم التحقق من ثبات المقياس بطريقة معامل ألفا وبلغ (0,77)، والاتساق الداخلي للمقياس. وبينت نتائج الدراسة أنه يلتزم نحو (91.3%) من أفراد المجتمع الكويتي بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي للحد من انتقال فيروس (كوفيد-19)، وجاء التزام الكويتيين بالتباعد الاجتماعي للحد من انتقال فيروس (كوفيد-19) في المرتبة الأولى بنسبة (93,2%)، في حين جاء التزام الكويتيين بالتباعد الجسدي في المرتبة الثانية بنسبة (89,6%)، ولم يلتزم نحو (23%) من الكويتيين بلبس الكمام في أثناء خروجهم من المنزل، كما لم يلتزم نحو (14%) بلبس القفازين عند الخروج من المنزل، ولم يلتزم أيضا نحو (14%) بمنع أي زيارات عائلية خوفا من انتشار العدوى، وجاء الطاقم الطبي في الخطوط الأمامية في المرتبة الأولى من حيث التزامه بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي بنسبة (93,2%)، في حين جاء الطاقم الأمني العام في المرتبة الثانية من حيث التزامه بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي بنسبة (78,6%)، وهناك ثلاثة متغيرات تؤثر في الكويتيين من حيث التباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي لمواجهة فيروس (كوفيد-19)، وهي: النوع، ومستوى التعليم، ومستوى الدخل؛ إذ كانت نسبة الذين التزموا بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي بصورة دائمة أعلى لدى الإناث بنسبة (77,2%) مقارنة بالذكور بنسبة (76%)، وكانت نسبة الذين التزموا بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي بصورة دائمة أعلى لدى ذوي الدراسات العليا بنسبة (76,7%) مقارنة بالمؤهلات الأخرى، وكانت نسبة الذين التزموا بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي بصورة دائمة أعلى لدى ذوي الدخل المرتفع بنسبة (83.1%) مقارنة بمستويات الدخل الأخرى، ووجدت فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الملتزمين بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي وغير الملتزمين في الصلابة النفسية وأبعادها المختلفة تجاه الملتزمين بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي، ويعتبر بعد الالتزام من أبعاد الصلابة النفسية منبئا بالتباعد الاجتماعي والجسدي.

|b This study aimed to estimate the level of commitment of Kuwaitis to the social and physical distancing to face the (COVID-19) and its relationship to Psychological Hardiness and some demographic variables. The final sample is formed of (552) Kuwaitis. This study included the following scales: a) social and physical distancing scale to face the COVID19, and the reliability of the scale was verified using the Alpha coefficient method and reached (0.79). The arbiters, International validity for the scale, Psychological Hardiness Scale (PHS), and the internal consistency of the scales were measured and they reached (0.77). The results showed that: 1) About (91.3%) from Kuwaitis are committed to the social and physical distancing to limit the transmission of the (COVID-19). 2) The commitment of Kuwaitis to the social distancing to reduce the transmission of the COVID19 came in the first place by 93.2% while Kuwaitis commitment to the physical distancing came in the second place at the rate of (89.6%). 3) About (23%) from Kuwaitis did not commit to wearing masks during their departure from the house, and nearly (14%) did not commit to wearing gloves when leaving the house, and about (14%) also did not commit to preventing any family visits for fear of spreading the infection. 4) The medical staff on the front lines came first in terms of their commitment to social and physical distancing (93.2%) while the general security staff came second in terms of their commitment to social and physical distancing (78.6%). 5) There were three variables that affect compliance the Kuwaitis commitment to social and physical distancing to confront the (COVID19) which are: Gender, Education level, and income level. The percentage of those who have consistently committed to social and physical spacing permanently is higher among females with 77.2% than male with 76%. The percentage of those who committed themselves to social and physical spacing permanently is higher among people with higher education with 76.7% comparing to the other qualifications. The percentage of those who committed themselves to social and physical spacing permanently is higher among people with higher income by 83.1% comparing to the other income levels. 6) There were significant differences between those who are committed to social and physical distancing to face the (COVID-19) and those who are not committed to social and physical distancing in psychological hardness. 7) The commitment dimension was a predictor of social and physical distancing.
