المستخلص: يعمد هذا البحث إلى بيان أساس نصفة القاضي الجرجاني أبا الطيب المتنبي في كتابه (الوساطة بين المتنبي وخصومه)، ووضعه حيث ينبغي أن يوضع بين شعراء عصره وأهل زمانه، من دون تعصب له أو عليه، من خلال التنبيه على محاسنه، وعدم إغفال هفواته وهناته؛ لإزاحة الركام عن تلك الخصومة التي دارت حوله، وتجلية ما شاع في تلك الحملة الشديدة وما ورد فيها من مغالطات أبخست الرجل حقه، وأظهرته كثير الزلل والسطو والإغارة على أشعار الآخرين، بهدف التوسط في الرؤية النقدية بين كل من القديم والحديث، وبين المغالين المبالغين في مدح المتنبي وتقديمه ونفي الزلل عنه، وبين العائبين الذين حطوا من قدره، ونفوا عنه كل فضيلة، وأخروه عن القدماء والمحدثين جميعا، وقد قامت هذه النصفة على أربعة أسس، هي:
الأول: بيان عدم خلو عمل بشري من العيب الذي يوجب القدح (المقايسة)، والرد على من هاجمه ولم يعده من الفحول وأسقط كل شعره بسبب بعض ما فيه مما عند غيره ممكن اعترف لهم بالفضل أسوأ منه. الثاني: الاعتماد على التعامل مع النص ذاته، وإخراج معيار الزمن "القدم والحداثة" في الحكم على الشعر. الثالث: نفي السرقة عن جل ما أدعى عليه فيه ذلك. الرابع تعديد ما عابوه من شعره والرد عليه.
وعليه فقط سعت هذه الدراسة إلى استكناه ما خطته يراع القاضي الجرجاني في نصفته أبا الطيب المتنبي، التي تجاوزت العصبية والميل، والنظرة الجزئية، وانمازت بالمرونة والشمولية، وهذا ما دارت حوله الدراسة، ومن الله التوفيق.


This research seeks to explain the justice done by Alqadi Al-Jurjani on Aba al-Tayyeb Al-Mutanabbi in his book (Mediation between Al-Mutanabbi and his opponents). The author allowed him his deserving place among his contemporary poets and people of his era, without prejudice against him. He alerted on his merits and not forgetting his oversights and mistakes to remove the rubble from those adversaries that took place around him and highlight what was common in that intense campaign and the fallacies contained therein that underestimated the man's right. The judgment also brought into light his many mistakes, robberies, and raiding on the poems of others in order to mediate the critical vision between the classic and the modern, and between those who exaggerate while praising Mutanabbi, put him on top, and deny any mistakes by him, and between those who downplayed his rightful place, denied him any quality or excellence and ranked him last among classic and modern poets altogether. This judgment is based on four foundations, which include:
The first foundation explains that the human work can't be free from any defect or flaw that necessitates the defamation (measuring), the response to those who attacked him, did not consider him among the class of masters, dropped all his poetry because of some defects which are found among others, but they are credited, which is worse than the first. The second foundation relies on dealing with the text itself and extracting the criterion of the era (classic and modern) when ruling on the poetry. The third foundation denies the robbery in poetry that has been attributed to him. The fourth foundation enumerates the poems which the opponents have described with defects and the response to that.
Therefore, this study sought to explain what has been written by Alqadi Al-Jurjani in his judgment on Aba al-Tayeb al-Mutanabbi, which avoided prejudice and inclination, partial outlook, and is characterized by flexibility and inclusiveness, and this is what the study revolved around. All the power comes from Allah.
