أمر الله سبحانه وتعالى المسلمين بطاعة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ورغبهم فيها، ونهاهم عن معصيته وحذرهم منها، والنهي في الأصل يقتضي الحرمة، إلا أن تصرفه قرينة إلى الكراهة. إن من أهم أسباب مخالفة أمر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ضعف الإيمان بالله عز وجل والجهل بالدين، والكبر والعجب، والصحبة السيئة والبيئة الفاسدة، واتباع الشهوات والشبهات وخطوات الشيطان. ومن أعظم مخاطر مخالفة سنة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، على حياة المسلمين، التعرض لغضب الله وسخطه وعذابه، وجلب الفتن والابتلاء بالذل والصغار. فالبدعة ومخالفة سنة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، من صفات الكفار واليهود والنصارى والمنافقين، وهي سبب للضلال عن الصراط المستقيم كذلك هي سبب لفساد المودة بين المسلمين وحصول العداوة والبغضاء بينهم، وبسببها لا تصح الأعمال ولا تقبل، وتحرم العبد من استجابة الدعاء، وتفقده تأييد الله ونصره، لذا يجب على العبد تجنب مخالفة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، والمسارعة إلى اتباعه، ومما يعين على ذلك الاجتهاد في تقوية الإيمان، والحرص على تعلم سنة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، والابتعاد عن الكبر والعجب بنفسه، وأن يتواضع للناس ببذل العلم والخير ونفعهم بما استطاع، وأن يكون أسرة صالحة، وأن يتار الصحبة الحسنة وأن يعيش في البيئة الطيبة، وأن يخالف هوى نفسه ويتقي الشهوات والشبهات وكيد الشيطان. وغيرها من أسباب الشر ودوافع السوء؛ لأن في مخالفة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وعيد الله من سبحانه وتعالى بسخطه وعقابه والفتنة في الدنيا والآخرة.
Allah Almighty has commanded Muslims to obey the prophet (PBUH) and encouraged them to do so. Also, Allah Almighty has forbidden and warned against disobedience of the Prophet. The most important reasons which lead to the disobedience of the Prophet (PBUH) are the following: weak belief in Allah Almighty; ignorance in religion; arrogance, self-conceit; bad companionship, corrupted environment; following lusts, suspicious matters, and Satan's steps. The greatest effects of disobeying the Prophet (PBUH) on Muslims are the following: exposure the anger, annoyance, and punishment of Allah Almighty; bringing troubles, lowness and humiliation. Invented heresy and disobedience of the Prophet's tradition are of the characteristics of disbelievers, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites. These are the reasons which lead to being away from the straight path; lack of intimacy among Muslims; and the spread of enmity and hatred. Consequently, deeds are not done correctly and are not accepted; slaves, prayers are not responded, and one loses the help and victory of Allah Almighty. Therefore, it is incumbent upon servants to avoid the disobedience of the prophet (PBUH) and to hurriedly follow him. To achieve this goal, one has to work had to strengthen one's faith; learn the Prophet's traditions; be away from arrogance and self-deceit; deal with people in a modest way; help people learn; do good deeds; create good family; choose valid companionship, healthy environment; contradict one's desires; protect oneself against desires, suspicions, the devil's wicked plans, and other things which lead to evil deeds. To conclude, the disobedience of the prophet (PBUH) causes the anger, annoyance, and punishment of Allah Almighty. Also, it leads to unfortunate circumstances and disastrous end in the worldly life and the hereafter.
