المستخلص: أجريت هذه الدراسة بهدف تسليط الضوء على الوسائل الإعلامية، ومدى تغطيتها، واهتمامها بالظواهر الخطيرة التي تحدث في المجتمع، ومنها ظاهرة الانتحار، فلوحظ من خلال دراستنا للبحث أن الوسائل الإعلامية لم ترتق بالمستوى المطلوب إزاء تلك الظواهر من خلال تغطيتها، ومعالجاتها، ووضع السبل المناسبة لها، ولاسيما أن مثل هكذا ظواهر تعد آفة خطيرة في المجتمعات، ولابد من وضع الحلول المناسبة، والسريعة لمعالجتها من خلال التقارير الإخبارية المتواصلة إزاء تلك الظواهر، والبرامج الهادفة والمعالج لها. فكانت قناة الحرة عراق نموذجا، وعينة بحثنا تمت إجراء الاختبار عليها، لأنها من القنوات السباقة في معالجة هكذا قضايا، وتهتم من خلال برامجها بوضع حلول لمعالجة هكذا ظواهر في المجتمع.

The media is an essential part of our daily lives and it is difficult to imagine life without it. It is linked more closely to technological and scientific developments. Modern technology has changed the media landscape. The space field is not just a clear sky. It is also a field for political and commercial competition. Some Arab satellite channels presented us with a new, Forms of news reports. This study was conducted in order to highlight the means of media coverage and attention to the serious phenomena that occur in society as a phenomenon of suicide, we noted through our study of the research that the media did not rise to the level required by these phenomena through coverage and treatment and development of appropriate ways, especially as such phenomena are considered It is dangerous in societies and it is necessary to develop appropriate and quick solutions to address them. Through continuous news reports on these phenomena and programs, and the treatment of them. It was noted that free channel Iraq is one of the first channels in the treatment of such issues and is interested in its programs to develop solutions to address such phenomena in the community.
