المستخلص: شكل الوصف والحوار أبرز وسائل السرد القصصي، إذ لا يمكن لأي سارد أن يتخلى عنهما بشكل أو بآخر؛ لذا فقد حرص الروائيون والقصاص على الاستخدام الأمثل لهذين العنصرين، ويلجأ القاص إلى الوصف لإبطاء الزمن السردي وإعطاء صورة ذهنية عن أشخاص ومشاهد، ويعمل الوصف على ردم الفجوة السردية التي قد تحدث في النص القصصي، فضلا عما يقدمه الوصف من معلومات للقارئ عن فكرة القصة، ومقصدية الكاتب، وتحديد طبيعة الشخصيات، ويعد الوصف عنصرا مساعدا للسرد، ولا يمكن للسرد أن يستغني عن الوصف؛ لذا يكون الوصف نافعا في السرد ومطورا للحدث، فإذا كان السرد يعمل على كشف الأحداث، فإن الوصف يساعد على بناء لغة القصة وإعطاء أوصاف عديدة للشخصية وللمكان والموجودات. وامتازت قصص هيثم بهنام بردى بهذه الظاهرة، فقد تمكن القاص من استخدام هذه التقنية بشكل فني وجمالي. إن إتقان القاص بردى للمهارة اللغوية مكنته من تشكيل صور وأوصاف بمستوى عال من الشعرية، ينطلق فيها مرة من وجهة نظر الراوي الذي يأخذ على عاتقه رواية الحدث القصصي ووصف شخصياته وأماكنه، ومرة من منظور الشخصيات، وفي كلا الحالتين يستغل القاص إمكاناته السردية، وقد جاء هذا البحث للكشف عن القيم الفنية والجمالية للوصف في مجموعته القصصية "الوصية". وستقوم دراستنا برصد ظاهرة الوصف بأشكاله الثلاث ووظائفه في مبحثين وهما: المبحث الأول تضمن دراسة الوصف من حيث أشكاله، والمبحث الثاني تضمن دراسة الوصف من حيث وظائفه.

The form of description and dialogue is the most prominent means of storytelling, as no narrator can abandon them in one way or the other. Therefore, novelists and storytellers have been keen on optimizing the use of these two elements, and the narrator resorts to description to slow down the narrative time and give a mental picture of people and scenes, and the description works to bridge the narrative gap that may occur in the fictional text, as well as what the description provides to the reader about the idea of the story and its intent The writer, defining the nature of the characters, and the description is an auxiliary element for the narration, and the narration cannot dispense with the description; Therefore, the description is useful in the narration and the developer of the event, so if the narration works to reveal the events, then the description helps to build the language of the story and give many descriptions of the character, the place and the assets. The stories of Haitham Behnam Barada were distinguished by this phenomenon, as the storyteller was able to use this technique artistically and aesthetically. The storyteller Barada's mastery of linguistic skill enabled him to form images and descriptions at a high level of poetry, in which he starts once from the point of view of the narrator who takes upon himself to narrate the story and describe his characters and places, and once from the perspective of the characters, and in both cases the narrator exploits his narrative potential, and this came. The search to uncover the artistic and aesthetic values of the description in his collection of stories "The Will" Our study will monitor the phenomenon of description in its three forms and functions in two topics: the first topic includes speech on the forms of description, and the second topic includes the functions of description.
