المستخلص: The present study sheds light on the essence and features of the current conflict in Palestine, in a bid to refresh memory of what has happened and foresee the future of the land. It is supposed that the conflict is purely civilizational. Therefore, it enjoys broader facets than the direct geographical space, narrow time frame and action by a single generation. The problem of the study lies in the way Muslims, Arabs and Palestinians handle the issue. When they, intentionally or unintentionally, ignore the civilizational context, the efforts aimed at winning and repelling aggression are negatively affected. Both the descriptive and content analysis methodologies are adopted to define Conflict and Civilizational Conflict as well as explore the indications of the civilizational aspect. The investigation also covers the extent of response by the Muslims, Arabs and Palestinians, in terms of perspectives and behaviour, to this fact and how such responses influence the approaches and developments of the conflict. The following conclusions are made: - There is a lack of proper analysis of the conflict in Palestine by the defeated until the moment. - The conflict is civilizational in the first place. Hence, as the Muslims lost the battle when they were lagging behind in terms of civilization, the true approach to restore Palestine is through civilizational renaissance. - The current Muslims’ civilizational backwardness does not serve any solution to the conflict, as it consolidates their defeat and the superiority of the Israeli occupation.
