المستخلص: Racism is a complex religious, social, political and cultural phenomenon based on ethnic, biological differentiation. Racial discrimination was introduced in the 18th century to justify colonization and hegemony on the Other. As the world witnessed dangers resulting from the practise of racism like wars and oppression, international covenants were set to safeguard human rights and reduce all the forms of racial discrimination. The present report sheds light on the religious and intellectual standards concerning racism, focusing on the Islamic civilization practise to get rid of it. The study attempts to identify the principles set by the Islamic thought to eliminate racism. Over its long history, the Islamic civilization presented an advanced model which institutionalizes human rights and combats this problem. The threat of the phenomena lies in the organic association with colonization. The latter departs from ethnic, biological superiority to account for the occupation of the Other on the pretext of liberation, modernization and development. Finally, the report emphasizes the refutation of the narration of racism and anti-Semitism in light of the Islamic perspective of human rights. It is also necessary to build an economic depth through alliances for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries.
