|a يهدف البحث إلى دراسة الدور العدائي لمملكة أخياوا الواقعة غرب الأناضول، حيث أشارت بعض الآثار الحيثية إلى محاولات أخياوا فرض نفوذها في المنطقة ومناوءة الوجود الحيثي خلال عصر الإمبراطورية الحيثية؛ ولأن الوثائق التاريخية التي تخص مملكة أخياوا تكاد تكون نادرة، فإن البيانات الخاصة بموضوع الدراسة قد وردت بالوثائق الحيثية وبالتحديد النصوص الخاصة بالملوك وحولياتهم، وجدير بالذكر أن العديد من هذه النصوص قد تعرضت للكثير من التحطيم والفقدان، وحتى بعد ترميمها توجد بها الكثير من الفجوات التي تسببت في خلافات كثيرة بين الباحثين في الترجمة والتأويل، ومن ثم فسوف يتم دراسة الدور العدائي لمملكة أخياوا وفقا للتتابع الزمني للملوك الحيثيين؛ وذلك من خلال ما ورد في النصوص الملكية، مع إيضاح أسباب ذلك العداء.

|b The present study explores the hostile role of the Kingdom of Aḫḫiyawa; which was located at the west region of Anatolia, where some Hittite monuments referred to the Aḫḫiyawa attempts to impose its influence in the region and to oppose the Hittite presence. Aḫḫiyawa was mentioned as one of the most important inciting or conflicting parties, and hostility is evident during the Hittite Empire period. Furthermore, given that the historical documents concerning the Kingdom of Aḫḫiyawa are hardly rare, the information of issue of the present study were contained in the Hittite documents, in particular the texts of the kings and their annals. It is worth noting that many of these texts were subjected to a lot of destruction and loss and even after their restoration, there are many gaps that have caused several differences between the scholars in translation and interpretation. The hostile role of the Kingdom of Aḫḫiyawa will be analyzed according to the royal texts of the Hittite kings, and finally the possible reasons for hostility will be discussed.
