المستخلص: يعد الإلغاء ظاهرة نحوية دقيقة، أولاها النحاة اهتماما بالغا لورودها بكثرة في اللسان العربي، إذ هي من أبرز مسائل النحو المرتبطة بعمل الأفعال القلبية المتصرفة، وإلغاؤها يحتاج إلى إعمال الفكر في الدلالات المختلفة التي قد تطرأ على التركيب لمعرفة قصد المتكلم، فمعنى الإلغاء غير معنى الإعمال، والمتكلم مقيد بالمعنى، فليس له أن يعمل أو يلغي متى شاء دون النظر إلى المعنى والقصد، إن معنى الإعمال أن الكلام مبني على الظن، تقدم الفعل أو تأخر، ومعنى الإلغاء أن الكلام مبني على اليقين ثم أدركك الشك فيما بعد، ثم إننا في الإعمال أمام جملة واحدة وفي الإلغاء أمام جملتين، لذلك جاءت هذه الدراسة لتسليط الضوء على هذه الظاهرة من خلال تعريف الإلغاء وإبراز علته وأثر ذلك على المعنى، كما تسعى إلى التنويه بنظرية العامل التي يقوم عليها أساسا الإلغاء.

The cancellation of a syntactic phenomenon, which the grammarians have placed a great interest on it due to its heavy use in the Arab tongue, is considered one of the most prominent issues associated with the work of cardiac acts. Therefore, its cancellation needs the realization of thought in different connotations that may arise on the structure to get what the speaker wants to say. This is because the meaning of the cancellation is not like the meaning of acting and the speaker is restricted to the meaning, so he cannot act or cancel at any time he wants without looking at the meaning and the intent. The meaning of acting means that speaking is based on doubt either by putting the verb at the beginning or the end. For the cancellation, speaking is based on certainty and then you get confused. Moreover, in acting we are in front of one sentence and in cancellation we are in front of two sentences. That is why this study comes to shed light on this phenomenon through the definition of cancellation and highlighting its cause and the effect of that on the meaning. The study also tries to reveal the importance of the acting theory on which the cancellation stands.
