يهدف هذا البحث وهو بعنوان (مساحة المناولة والتشغيل وإمكانية الأداء الوظيفي في ميناء زوارة - دراسة ميدانية) وذلك للتعرف على العلاقة بين المساحة الكلية للميناء والكفاءة في الأداء الوظيفي ومجموع العوامل المناخية والتربة التي تؤثر على تقليص المساحة المعدة للتشغيل وإمكانية التجهيزات والمعدات بأنواعها المختلفة وكذلك مرافق الميناء المتمثلة في الساحات المكشوفة والمخازن المسقوفة والأرصفة وحاجز الأمواج فضلا عن ذلك التعرف على الفروق بين عوامل التأثير في الأداء وذلك بالتعرف على المساحات التشغيلية من خلال قياس الأبعاد للمرافق التابعة للميناء بما يظهر تقييم معدل الأداء وعلاقته بالخرائط المساحية وعلى الرغم من أن الإنسان يعيش حاليا عصر يخض بخصائص تقنية وابتكارات علمية مميزة إلا أنه لا يخلو من تعرض الإنسان إلى مواقف مثيرة وصعبة في ظل الظروف الحالية، ومن خلال نتائج الدراسة الميدانية اتضح بأن ميناء زواره التجاري يحتاج إلى إعادة تقييم لكل المعايير الخاصة بالموانئ التجارية وفق معايير الجودة المطلوبة حتي يتمكن من القيام بالمهام الوظيفية من أجل سلامة السفن ومشغلي الميناء.
This research, entitled (Handling and operating area, and the possibility of functional performance in the port of Zuwara _ a field study) aims to identify the relationship between the total area of the port and the efficiency of performance and the total climatic and soil factors that affect the reduction of the area prepared for operation and the possibility of various types of equipments as well as the port facilities represented in the open yards, covered stores, sidewalks, and breakwaters, in addition to identifying the differences between the factors affecting performance by identifying the operational areas by measuring the dimensions of the port facilities in a way that shows the evaluation of the performance rate and its relationship to the cadastral maps, despite the fact that man is currently living in an era full of characteristics of distinctive technology and scientific innovations, but it is not without human exposure to exciting and difficult situations under the current circumstances, and through the results of the field study it became clear that the commercial port of its visitors needs a reevaluation of all the standards of commercial ports according to the required quality standards in order to be able to carry out the functional tasks of for the safety of ships and port operators.
