المستخلص: Each economy has its own set of activities and vital sectors, which are the basis of its growth and development, by their participation in the growth of the gross domestic product (GDP), the creation of jobs, and the acquisition of more and more of foreign exchange reserves via the export. The importance of these economic sectors varies from one country to another because of the specificities of each country. These sectors are generally: agriculture, extractives and transformational industries, tourism, and the energy sector. The purpose of this article is to show the key role that water plays in the development, promotion and prosperity of these sectors, and in the continuity of their activities.

Chaque économie a son propre ensemble d'activités et de secteurs vitaux, qui sont la base de sa croissance et de son développement, par leur participation à l’augmentation du produit intérieur brut, la création d'emplois et l’acquisition de plus en plus de réserve de change via l’exportation. L'importance de ces secteurs économiques varie d'un pays à l'autre en raison des spécificités de chaque pays. Ces secteurs sont généralement: l'agriculture, l'industrie des types extractifs et transformationnels, le tourisme et le secteur de l’énergie. Le but de cet article est de montrer le rôle clé que l’eau joue dans le développement, la promotion et la prospérité de ces secteurs, et dans la continuité de leurs activités.
