المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث أحد الموضوعات المهمة التي لم تحظ، على أهميتها، بالاهتمام والدراسة لا من قريب ولا من بعيد؛ وهو "وضع المصريين تحت الحكم العنصري في اتحاد جنوب أفريقيا"، أو الوضع القانوني للمصريين من القوانين الخاصة بالتفريق بين الألوان في تلك المنطقة من القارة. وتأتى أهمية هذا الموضوع من تتبع وزارة الخارجية المصرية ورصدها ورعايتها للجالية المصرية في تلك البقعة التي كانت موبوءة بداء العنصرية وتحينها لفرصة مواتية لتصحيح وضع المصريين من الفروقات اللونية. كما تأتى أهمية الموضوع أيضا من ندرة الكتابات حوله، فلا يوجد في الكتابات العربية والأجنبية - فيما أعلم - أي ذكر لهذه المسألة لا من قريب ولا من بعيد.

This research deals with one of the important topics that did not receive attention and study, neither from near nor far, namely, "Egyptians under racial rule in the Union of South African", or the legal status of Egyptians from the laws on the distinction of colors in that region of the continent. The importance of this topic comes from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its monitoring and sponsorship of the Egyptian community in this spot that was infested with racism and given a favorable opportunity to correct the situation of Egyptians of color differences. The importance of the topic also comes from the scarcity of writings on it, as far as I know there is no mention of this issue, neither from near nor far. The study begins in 1949, where the issue of determining the status of Egyptians of color differences emerged this year following the visit of The Egyptian Ayub Anba Bishoy, representative of the Patriarch's Grace, to the Union of South Africa and the crisis of his consideration of colored. The study ceases in 1958, when the Federal Government for the first time compared the citizens of the United Arab Republic to Europeans, and officially recognized their equality in that excellent category in the eyes of the Union government
