|a تتمثل مشكلة الدراسة في رصد سمات الصورة المتكونة لدى الشباب المصري عن رجال الشرطة، وتحديد الدور الذي تقوم به الدراما التليفزيونية في تشكيل هذه الصورة لديهم. تعتبر هذه الدراسة من الدراسات الوصفية التي تستهدف وصف ودراسة الحقائق المتعلقة بظاهرة أو موقف بهدف الوصول إلى بيانات ومعلومات عن هذه الظاهرة. اعتمدت الباحثة على استمارة استبيان إلكترونية كأداة لجمع البيانات من عينة تبلغ 200 مبحوث من الشباب المصري. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن أهم السمات الإيجابية التي وافق عليها المبحوثون أن رجال الشرطة على دراية كبيرة بالمسئولية الأمنية، بينما كانت أهم السمات السلبية أن رجال الشرطة يستغلون مناصبهم لتحقيق مصالح شخصية وتورط رجال الشرطة في قضايا الفساد. كما أثبتت الدراسة حيادية صورة رجال الشرطة المقدمة في الدراما التليفزيونية.

|b The problem of the study is to analyse the features of the image formed by Egyptian youth about policemen, and to determine the role that TV drama plays in forming this image for them. This study is considered one of the descriptive studies that aims to describe and study the facts related to a phenomenon or situation. The researcher adopted an electronic questionnaire form as a tool to collect data from a sample of 200 Egyptian youth respondents. The study found that the most important positive features agreed upon by the respondents are that policemen are aware of security responsibility, while the most important negative features are that policemen use their positions to achieve personal interests and police involvement in corruption cases. The study also confirmed the neutrality of the image of the policemen presented in the television drama.
