المستخلص: The topic deals with the impact of the mystical religious culture on Algerian society's behavior towards the French occupation during the nineteenth century AD. The leaders of the Algerian resistance took advantage of the Algerian society's attachment to Sufism and the Sufis to unify the ranks against the colonialists, especially with regard to the society's adherence to the idea of the Qutb (pole), which is considered as the savior and rescuer or what is known as the Awaited Mahdi, as well as his attachment to religious institutions and sanctuaries such as Zawiyas (institutions), shrines and the like, and his endeavor to protect and defend them.

يعالج الموضوع أثر الثقافة الدينية الصوفية في سلوك المجتمع الجزائري إزاء الاحتلال الفرنسي أثناء القرن التاسع عشر الميلادي، بحيث استثمر زعماء المقاومة الجزائرية تعلق المجتمع الجزائري بالتصوف والمتصوفة لتوحيد الصفوف ضد المستعمر، خصوصا فيما يتعلق بتمسك المجتمع بفكرة القطب الصوفي، الذي يعد بمثابة المخلص والمنقذ أو ما يعرف بالمهدي المنتظر، وكذا تعلقه أيضا بالمؤسسات والمقدسات الدينية مثل الزوايا والأضرحة ونحوها وسعيه لحمايتها والدفاع عنها.

L’objet Traite de l'impact de la question de la culture religieuse du soufisme dans le comportement de la société algérienne à propos de l'occupation française durant le XIXe siècle, alors investi chefs de la résistance algérienne dans l’ attachement de la société algérienne au soufisme et les soufis à unir contre la puissance coloniale, en particulier en ce qui concerne l'éloge de la communauté l'idée de pôle mystique, qui sert le Sauveur et quoi connu comme prévu le Mahdi, ainsi que aussi attachement aux institutions et sanctuaires religieux des lieux saints tels que les angles et les autres, et sa quête pour protéger et défendre.
