المستخلص: The study aimed to examine the relationship between the innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities of owners of small and medium enterprises and the sustainability of project activity, and focused on this relationship in terms of innovative features and capabilities, traits and leadership capabilities as independent influencing variables, and the sustainability of project activity as a dependent variable. The results showed at the level of significance (a<0.05) a correlation and impact between the innovative capabilities of owners of small and medium enterprises and the sustainability of project activities in the State of Kuwait, and It was also clear that there is a correlation and impact relationship between the innovative capabilities of owners of small and medium enterprises and the sustainability of project activities in the State of Kuwait at a significant level (a<0.05). The most important thing suggested by the study is to define a national training strategy that depends on business incubators that increase the capabilities of projects in the areas of facing operational challenges and continuing the project performance and avoiding failure in the project’s sustainability, The necessity that the state and its institutions take care to encourage entrepreneurial and innovative entrepreneurs and embrace them and provide them with all means of support so that they can be a role model , State institutions put the innovative and pioneering side as one of the conditions for granting finance to small and medium enterprises.

هدفت الدراسة إلى بحث العلاقة بين القدرات الابتكارية والريادية لأصحاب المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة واستدامة نشاط المشروعات، وركزت على هذه العلاقة من حيث السمات والقدرات الابتكارية، السمات والقدرات الريادية كمتغيرات مستقلة مؤثرة، واستدامة نشاط المشروعات كمتغير تابع. جاءت النتائج لتثبت عند مستوى (a<0.05) وجود علاقة ارتباط وتأثير بين القدرات الابتكارية لأصحاب المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة واستدامة نشاط المشروعات في دولة الكويت، كما اتضح وجود علاقة ارتباط وتأثير أيضا بين القدرات الابتكارية لأصحاب المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة واستدامة نشاط المشروعات في دولة الكويت وذلك عند مستوى معنوية (a<0.05). من أهم ما اقترحته الدراسة تحديد استراتيجية تدريب وطنية تعتمد على حاضنات الأعمال التي تزيد من قدرات المشروعات في مجالات مواجهة تحديات التشغيل والاستمرار في أداء المشروع وتجنب الإخفاق في استدامة المشروع، ضرورة أن تهتم الدولة ومؤسساتها بتشجيع أصحاب المشروعات الريادية والابتكار وأن تحتضنها وتوفر لها كافة سبل الدعم بحيث تكون نموذج يحتذى به، أن تضع مؤسسات الدولة الجانب الابتكاري والريادي كأحد شروط منح التمويل للمشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة.
