المستخلص: In this article, we have tried to clarify the concept of ethnic pluralism as a phenomenon that has gained tremendous importance at the scientific and academic levels, especially after global transformations since the beginning of the nineties. In order to resolve ethnic conflicts in various societies, several theories have been proposed to address this issue, such as the theory of consensus democracy, which was presented as an alternative model to majority (representative) democracy, by proposing principles that are in themselves one of the most important mechanisms for managing ethnic pluralism, such as political decentralization and mutual veto. On a essayé, à partir de cet article, faire éclairer le concept de la socièté pluraliste et la diversité éthnique qui a eu une grande importance au niveau scientifique et académique, et surtout après les transformations mondiales depuis 1990. Et pour résourdre les conflits éthniques dans les différentes sociètés, plusieurs théories avais traiter ce thème, comme la démocratie consentionelle, qui a été présenté comme un type qui remplace la démocratie majoritaire (représentative) par ses principes, qui sont les plus importants mécanismes pour gérer la diversité ethnique, comme le fédéralisme et le droit de véto mutual.

حاولنا في هذا المقال توضيح مفهوم التعددية الإثنية كظاهرة اكتسبت أهمية بالغة على الصعيدين العلمي والأكاديمي، خاصة بعد التحولات العالمية منذ بداية التسعينيات. ولحل الصراعات الإثنية في مختلف المجتمعات، طرحت عدة نظريات لمعالجة هذا الموضوع مثل النظرية الديمقراطية التوافقية التي قدمت كنموذج بديل عن ديمقراطية الأكثرية (التمثيلية)، بطرحها لمبادئ تعتبر في حد ذاتها من أهم آليات إدارة التعددية الإثنية، مثل اللامركزية السياسية وحق النقض المتبادل.
