The present research aimed to identify the clinical significance of children's Apperception test (CAT) to reveal the dynamic factors of depression, they have. The researcher has used the clinical methodology (case study) for the case of a child in eight years of age suffers depressive symptoms and is in the second grade. To diagnose the case, the researcher used the following: Children's Depression Inventory (CDI) "vernacular picture" (Prepared by: Gharib Abdel Fattah Gharib), Form of case study (Prepared by: researcher), and Children's Apperception test (CAT) (Prepared by: Leopold Bellak, Sonia Sorel Bellak). The research results showed the following: The Child Got 48 degrees on Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), and this showed that he is suffering depression. Also, the child responses to the ten cards revealed the dynamic factors underlying the symptoms of depression that he suffered. The most important factor was his parents' divorce and engagement in their new life and children, with neglecting him. Both of them visit him once a month at grandmother house. Although the divorce took place when the child was two years old, but their neglection has caused him many depressive symptoms, which he showed clearly through the case study, including: (complaints physical such as vomiting - the body pain - inactivity - obvious physical weakness - loss of appetite - crying - persistent sadness – The behavior of withdrawal - poor performance at school and poor academic achievement level in general - anxiety - fear). He does not feel any interest only by his grandmother (mother's mother), as she is the only one who cares about him and makes him always the focus of attention in order to compensate for what has happened from his parents, also he is linked to a teacher of art education. This means that children's Apperception test CAT has a clinical significance for the detection of dynamic factors for depression at the situation.
