المستخلص: During the last decade of the twentieth century, the African continent, in general, and West Africa, in particular, have witnessed a state of instability due to a number of conflicts with multiple causes and motivations between the visions and interests of countries or countries local groups. Internal conflicts were the most widespread and intense, most prominent of which was the conflict in both Liberia and Sierra Leone, which led to genocide and fighting between opposing factions. The article first presents an analysis of the conflict in Liberia and Sierra Leone by diagnosing the conflict by identifying its parties and features and attempts to manage it by activating both the efforts and methods of international and non-state actors and the attempt to reestablish post-conflict peacebuilding arrangements in each country. Le continent africain a connu de façon globale, et en particulier l’Afrique de l’ouest, durant la dernière décade du vingtième siècle un état d’instabilité, à cause d’un ensemble de conflits pour diverses causes et raisons entre visions et intérêts des pays ou des communautés locales. Les conflits intérieurs ont été les plus répandus et accentués, notamment le conflit en Liberia et Sierra Leone qui a mené au génocide et aux affrontements entre les factions rivales. Cet article tend à analyser le conflit en Liberia et Sierra Leone par le diagnostic du conflit en déterminant ses parties, ses caractéristiques, et les tentatives de sa gestion, à travers l’activation de tous les efforts et les orientations des agents internationaux et non étatique, en essayant de remettre les dispositions de construction de la paix en périodes post-conflit dans chaque pays.

شهدت القارة الإفريقية بصفة عامة وغرب إفريقيا بصفة خاصة خلال العقد الأخير من القرن العشرين حالة من اللاستقرار نتيجة جملة من النزاعات التي تعددت أسبابها ودوافعها بين رؤى ومصالح الدول أو الجماعات المحلية، وكانت النزاعات الداخلية هي الأكثر انتشارا وأكثر حدة ومن أبرزها النزاع في كل من ليبيريا وسيراليون والذي وصل إلى حدة الإبادة والاقتتال بين الفصائل المتعارضة. أول هذا المقال تحليل النزاع في ليبيريا وسيراليون وذلك من خلال تشخيص النزاع بتحديد أطرافه وسماته ومحاولات إدارته من خلال تفعيل كل من جهود ومسارات الفواعل الدولية وغير الدولاتية ومحاولة إعادة وضع ترتيبات بناء السلام في فترات ما بعد النزاع في كل دولة.
