المستخلص: السيرة سواء أكانت سيرة ذاتية شخصية، أم سيرة غيرية، هي جنس أدبي، فهي سرد قصصي لتجارب وأحداث وذكريات، لذلك نرى أن كاتب السيرة الذاتية باستخدام التقنيات الفنية ذاتها التي تستخدم في الرواية. أن السيرة الذاتية تعد نصا سرديا، فهي جنس أدبي تقترب في الكثير من أوجهها من الرواية، وهذا التقارب بين السيرة الذاتية والرواية، أحدث تداخلاً كبيرا بين الجنسين السرديين. لعل إحدى أهم التقنيات التي تستخدم في النصوص السردية هي الحركة الزمنية لذلك اخترنا هذه التقنية لتطبيقها على سيرة صلاح نيازي الذاتية التي تحمل عنوان (غصن مطعم في شجرة غريبة)، وتوقفنا عند أهم أركانها، وهي: الحذف والمجمل اللذان يؤديان إلى تسريع السرد، والمشهد الحواري والوقفة الوصفية اللذان يؤديان إلى إبطاء السرد، وتعد عمليتا التسريع والإبطاء من التقنيات التي تلازم البناء الفني للنصوص السردية، إذ نجد في النصوص السردية تفاوتاً واضحاً بين زمن السرد وزمن الحكاية، والتفاوت الحاصل بين هذين الزمنين ناشئ عن عدم إمكانية سرد جميع الأحداث كما وقعت بشكلها الواقعي والتفصيلي. استخدم الكاتب صلاح نيازي تقنية الحذف بنوعيها الحذف الظاهر والحذف الضمني، كما استخدم تقنية المجمل التي تمر سريعاً على فترات زمنية طويلة.

Biography, or autobiography, is considered a literary genre, as it is a narrative of a person’s life experience, events and memories written either by another author, which is called biography, or the author himself/herself, which is called autobiography. As a narrative account, biography uses the techniques of fiction, to an extent that in some cases it can be difficult to differentiate between biography and fiction. In this dissertation, the autobiography book of the Iraqi writer Salah Niazi (A Grafted Branch in a Strange Tree) has been chosen and the techniques of narrative texts studied. One of the main techniques used in narrative accounts is time movement, which is the duration of the events. That’s to say, some events last one day or a few hours, while others can take a century. Two main techniques in time movement are acceleration and deceleration. Text acceleration is when the author describes a long event in a few words or a few pages, using summary, which is a brief description of the main points of the event, and ellipsis, which is deleting or ignoring the years that are irrelative to the event. The other technique is deceleration, which is the description of a series of events in detail that include dialogue, but all happened within one day. In narrative accounts there is a profound difference between the event duration and the text duration, because narrating all the events in detail in a text is almost impossible. In his autobiography, Salah Niazi used the techniques of deceleration, summary and the two types of ellipsis, covert ellipsis and overt ellipsis.
