المستخلص: يقدم هذا العمل دراسة عن متاحف كلية الآداب جامعة القاهرة خلال الفترة من سنة 1949 إلى سنة 1970 من واقع وثائق إحدى ملفات الموضوعات بعنوان "متاحف الكلية" المحفوظ بأرشيف كلية الآداب وبوحدة الذاكرة الإلكترونية بالكلية. تلك المتاحف كانت جزءا من تاريخ كلية الآداب وكان مقرها بالمبنى الملحق بالكلية القائم بميدان الرماحة، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لوثائق ومستندات الملف موضع الدراسة من أجل التعريف بنشأة هذه المتاحف وهي متحف الآثار المصرية، ومتحف الآثار الإسلامية، ومتحف آثار ما قبل التاريخ ومتحف الدراسات السودانية، وما وصلت له الدراسة من نتائج في بيان الطرق التي كانت تتبعها إدارة الكلية لتزويد هذه المتاحف بالقطع الأثرية من مواقع عمليات حفائر الكلية ومن خلال الشراء من مقتنيات الدكتور علي إبراهيم باشا ومن تجار العاديات ومن خلال الإهداءات. وأيضا ما تشمله الدراسة من بيان لحصر مقتنيات الكلية من الصور الفوتوغرافية لتحف العمارة والفنون، وموضحا مساهمات متاحف كلية الآداب في إعارة بعض مقتنياتها من القطع الأثرية داخل مصر وخارجها، ودورها التعليمي في المجتمع. وقد ألحق بالدراسة مجموعة من الجداول التي توضح قوائم القطع الأثرية المرسلة إلى إدارة الكلية سواء لشرائها من تجار العاديات أو المهداة للمتاحف، وأيضا من الجداول ما يرصد مواصفات القطع المرسلة إلى إدارة الكلية سواء لشرائها من تجار العاديات أو المهداة للمتاحف، وأيضا من الجداول ما يرصد مواصفات القطع المرسلة إعارة دائمة من متحف الآثار المصرية بالكلية إلى السفارة المصرية بواشنطن سنة 1950، وتختتم الدراسة بمجموعة من اللوحات نماذج من وثائق الدراسة. وتوصي الدراسة بالمزيد من الاهتمام بالدراسات التي توثق تاريخ مؤسساتنا ذات الطابع التعليمي والثقافي.

This work presents a study on the museums of the Faculty of Arts Cairo university during the period from 1949 to 1970 based on documents of one of the subjects' files entitled "College Museums" kept in the Archives of the Faculty of Arts, and in the Electronic Memory Unit of the College. These museums were part of the history of the Faculty of Arts, where it was located in the building annexed to the college located in Al-Ramah Square. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach to the documents of the file under study in order to define the origins of these museums, which are the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, the Museum of Islamic Antiquities, the Museum of Prehistoric Archeology And the Museum of Sudanese Studies, and the results of the study showing the methods used by the college administration to provide these museums with artifacts from the sites of the college excavation operations and by purchasing from the collections of Dr. Ali Ibrahim Pasha and from antique dealers and through gifts received. In addition, the study includes a statement of an inventory of the college’s holdings of photographs of masterpieces of architecture and arts, and an explanation of the contributions of the museums of the Faculty of Arts in loaning some of its collections of artifacts inside and outside Egypt, and their educational role in society. A set of tables has been attached to the study, that show lists of artifacts sent to the college administration, whether to buy them from antiques dealers or donated to the museums, and also there are tables that monitor the specifications of the pieces sent permanently loaned from the Faculty of Egyptian Antiquities to the Egyptian Embassy in Washington in the year 1950. The study concludes with a group of paintings as samples of study documents. The study recommends papying more attention to studies that document the history of our institutions of an educational and cultural nature.
