المستخلص: Ethnic pluralism is a normal state in all countries of the world, but the degree of impact on state-building varies from region to region. Ethnic pluralism represents diversity, unifying and integration factor in many States, just like Western and European States, in the sense that ethnic groups within a single national group are complementary parts of the unity of feeling and belonging to one homeland.
On the other hand, ethnic groups in Africa and the rest of the third world, with their different culture and traditions, may turn into a conflict of will, interests and influence, which adversely affects the unity of belonging as well as geography of the national State.

التعددية الإثنية هي حالة طبيعية في كل دول العالم، لكن درجة تأثيرها على بناء الدولة تختلف من منطقة لأخرى. وتمثل التعددية الإثنية تنوعا وعامل توحيد واندماج في الكثير من الدول على غرار الدول الغربية والأوروبية تحديدا، من منطلق أن الجماعات الإثنية الموجودة داخل الجماعة الوطنية الواحدة هي أجزاء مكملة لوحدة الشعور والانتماء للوطن الواحد.
بالمقابل، فإن الجماعات الإثنية في أفريقيا وباقي دول العالم الثالث بثقافتها وتقاليدها المختلفة، قد تتحول إلى تضارب وتصارع في الإرادات والمصالح والنفوذ، وهو ما يؤثر سلبا على وحدة الانتماء والجغرافيا للدولة الوطنية.


Le pluralisme ethnique est un phénomène naturel dans tous les pays du monde. Son influence sur la construction de l'Etat diffère d'une région à l'autre. Il constitue un facteur d'union et d'intégration dans plusieurs pays, à l'instar des pays occidentaux, car les groupes ethniques qui existent dans une seule communauté représentent des composantes complémentaires de l'union nationale.
D’autre part, les groupes ethniques en Afrique et dans le reste des pays du monde, avec leurs cultures et traditions, pourraient être à la base de contradictions des volontés et de conflits des intérêts, chose qui influencerait négativement sur l'unité nationale.
