|a أصبحت الهواتف الذكية لا غنى عنها للحياة اليومية، ويمتلك الأطفال والمراهقين والبالغين هواتف ذكية. وينتشر الاستخدام المفرط أو المشكل للهواتف الذكية بنسبه الضعف (1:2) لدي المراهقين مقارنة بالبالغين ويعرف استخدام الهاتف الذكي المشكل بأنه شكل من أشكال السلوك الذي يتميز بالاستخدام القهري للهاتف الذكي، وينتج عنه أشكال مختلفة من الأذى الجسدي أو النفسي أو الاجتماعي. (2020، Ting, &Chen,: سامية صابر، 2014، 2020، 2020) ولقد تم تعريف مصطلح الخوف من فوات شيء ما "الفومو" Fear Of Missing Out "FOMO"، على أنه الخوف الذي ينطوي على القلق، والقلق من أن يكون لدى الآخرين تجارب أفضل، أو يكتسبون معلومات أكثر فائدة من الفرد، ويتضمن الفومو الخوف من فقدان الخبرات الجيدة والممتعة، والحاجة للبقاء باستمرار على اتصال بالشبكة الاجتماعية للفرد. ) Elhai, Yang, Rozgonjuk,& Montag, 2020; Yuan, Elhai, &Hall, 2021:1) الهدف من الورقة البحثية: - تناول تعريف استخدام الهاتف الذكي المشكل وتعريف الخوف من فوات شيء ما FOMO. - تناول علاقة استخدام الهاتف الذكي المشكل بالخوف من فوات شيء ما "الفومو". - تناول بعض من نتائج الدراسات السابقة التي تناولت الفومو. وعلى ضوء الدراسات السابقة والإطار النظري تم تقديم عدة مقترحات وتوصيات.

|b Smartphones are becoming indispensable for daily life, and children, teenagers and adults have smartphones. Excessive or problematic use of smartphones is twice as common in adolescents compared to adults, and problematic smartphone use is defined as a form of behavior that is characterized by compulsive use of a smartphone and results in various forms of physical, psychological or social harm. (Ting, & Chen, 2020; Samia Saber, 2014, 2020, 2020) The term fear of missing out on something was defined as "FOMO." Fear Of Missing Out "FOMO", as a fear that involves anxiety, and anxiety that others will have better experiences, or gain more useful information from the individual, and FOMO includes the fear of losing good and enjoyable experiences, and the need to constantly stay connected to the social network of the individual. )Elhai, Yang, Rozgonjuk, & Montag, 2020; Yuan, Elhai, & Hall, 2021: 1) The goal of the research paper: - Addressed the definition of problematic smartphone use and the definition of fear of missing out on something “FOMO.” - Addressing the relationship of smartphone use formed with fear of missing out on something "FOMO." - Addressing some of the results of previous studies that dealt with FOMO. Suggestions and recommendations: In light of the previous studies and the theoretical framework, several proposals and recommendations were presented.
