المستخلص: المراكشي، مؤرخ وكاتب كتاب "المعجب في تلخيص أخبار أهل المغرب، وهو الأقرب زمنياً من زمن ابن رشد (الفيلسوف العربي المشهور)، لعب لصالح إعادة بناء وتخليص المناخ الفكري في ذلك الوقت، أين لم تطهيره من الفلسفة كمادة غير دينية؟ من المحتمل جداً أن يكون هذا هو الحال، خاصة وأننا لا نلاحظ في الواقع أي اسم بارز للفيلسوف بعد ابن رشد، بالمقارنة بين النصوص العربية المختلفة لتحديد أي من هؤلاء المؤلفين يوفر المعلومات والعناصر المهمة عن حياة ابن رشد وأنشطته الفلسفية، يوجد المراكشي في الدرجة الأولى من أولئك المؤلفين.

Al-Marrākušī considered as a historian and author of the book entitled "al-Muʿğib fī Talḫīṣ Aḫbār Ahl al-Maġrib" was the nearest from the Ibn Rušd's (Averroes in Latin) epoch. The question: did he describe faithfully the intellectual climate of this epoch where the science of philosophy was not eliminated for religious purpose yet? Probably it was the case because no famous name of a philosopher appeared after Ibn Rušd. In fact, the comparison between various arabic sources to find the author who provided the most important information about the life of Ibn Rušd and his philosophical activities gives al-Marrākušī as the number one.

Al-Marrākušī, historien et auteur du livre intitulé al-Muʿğib fī Talḫīṣ Aḫbār Ahl al-Maġrib étant le plus proche chronologiquement de l'époque d'Ibn Rušd (Averroès chez les Latins), a t-il joué en faveur d'une reconstitution fidèle du climat intellectuel de l'époque, non encore purgé de la philosophie comme matière irréligieuse? Il est très probable que ce fut le cas, d'autant plus que nous ne relevons aucun nom notable de philosophe après Ibn Rušd. En effet, une comparaison entre les différents textes sources arabes pour déterminer lequel de ces auteurs source fournit le plus d'informations et d’éléments importants sur la vie d'Ibn Rušd et sur ses activités philosophiques, l'auteur al-Marrākušī se place au premier rang.
