المستخلص: درس علماء العرب القدامى جوانب مختلفة من جوانب الدلالة التي تتعلق بالصيغة النحوية المجردة، واهتم النحاة والبلاغيون بوظائف النحو ومعانيه وأكدوا على أن الأنظمة والقوانين النحوية عنصر حاسم من عناصر تحديد الدلالة وفهم المعنى، وتبنى الدلالة النحوية على دلالة الاحتمال في أغلب أحوالها، والاحتمال فيها ميزة تثري المعنى في فهم نصوص الشريعة واستنباط الأحكام، وتأتي أساسا من الحالة الإعرابية للأسماء في الجملة أو من تركيب كلمات الجملة وتحصل من خلال العلاقات النحوية بين الكلمات التي تتخذ كل منها موقعا معينا في الجملة حسب قوانين اللغة فتتحدد لها بذلك الوظيفة النحوية.
