المستخلص: The present research aimed at acquiring the skills of rhythm dictation of Arabian Tunes, Intervals, Scales, Orab, Agnas and Droub through a collaborative e-learning package to students of music education division at the Faculty of Education, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt. To measure the impact of the experimental materials on acquiring such skills, the participants were divided into two groups of 20 students each, the control group studied in the traditional methods, where the other one taught using the proposed learning package, which extended learning time outside the university, providing students with an interactive learning environment that allowed them to communicate online, and sharing ideas regarding the delivered learning content. To investigate the impact of the suggested intervention on the acquisition of the mentioned skills above, an achievement test was used to measure to what extent the targeted skills were developed. The results showed a statistically significant improvement in the students’ skills of the Arabian rhythm dictation in the experimental group in favor of utilizing the collaborative e-learning package.
