المستخلص: بالرغم من تأكيد غالبية التوجهات التصميمية على الجوانب الأدائية والوظيفية والجمالية للناتج التصميمية. إلا أن الاهتمام كان أكثر تركيزا على الطبيعة التشكيلية لتلك النتائج، فمن خلال المظهر الشكلي ومضمونة الوظيفي كتصميم منجز يتبن لنا مدى تأثير العلاقات الرابطة بين العناصر والأسس التصميمية لتحقيق التكاملية في المنجز التصميمي من النواحي الجمالية والوظيفية ودلالاتها التعبيرية والرمزية ومن خلال ذلك أدخلت الكثير من المفاهيم الجديدة من أجل الترتيب والتنظيم والتنسيق والتصنيف الوظيفي للمنجز التصميمي فسحت المجال بإظهار التعدد في الاتجاهات التصميمية للمنتجات الصناعية وبحسب قيمة الأداء الوظيفي والجمالي بالإضافة إلى مواصفات الخامة والتنظيم والتشكيل التصميمي، حيث ظهرت إبداعات تصميمية في المنجز من خلال استحداث المتغيرات في نظم الشكلية والوظيفية في البناء التصميمي للمنجز ارتبطت مع وظيفة التصميم وما يرافقه من تطور تقني للمادة تعد كضرورة في إنضاج الفكرة التصميمية. ومن خلال دراسة استطلاعية أولية للباحث للمنتجات الصناعية المنجزة محليا في مدينة بغداد وجد الباحث بأن هنالك إشكالية تقف أمام مفهوم التكاملية من ناحية العلاقات الإنشائية والرابطة وبين معنى التكامل المبني على أساس الأبعاد الجمالية والوظيفية للمنجز التصميمي.
