المستخلص: عني الباحث في هذا البحث بدراسة واكتشاف الدلالات الرمزية في أعمال النحات العراقي مرتضى حداد، وقد تألف البحث من أربعة فصول احتوى الفصل الأول على مشكلة البحث وأهميته وأهداف البحث والتي تمثلت في الكشف عن الدلالات الرمزية في أعمال النحات العراقي المعاصر مرتضى حداد والمصطلحات، والتي شملت الدلالة لغتا واصطلاحا وفلسفتا وإجراء، وشملت أيضا الرمز لغتا واصطلاحا وفلسفتا وإجراء، أما الفصل الثاني فقد شمل ثلاثة مباحث هي على التوالي، الدلالة والرمز، نبذة مختصرة عن النحت العراقي المعاصر، نبذة عن حياة النحات العراقي المعاصر مرتضى حداد، وتحدث الباحث في المبحث الأول عن أهم آراء المختصين العراقيين والعرب والأجانب في مجال الدلالة والرمز، والثاني عن أهم الأسماء في عالم رواد النحت العراقي المعاصر من المؤسسين الأوائل وجيل الأكاديميين من النحاتين العراقيين المعاصرين، وجاء في الفصل الثالث إجراءاته المتمثلة بالمؤشرات النظرية الأولية، ثم شروط اختيار عينة البحث، فتحليل الأعمال التي احتوت خمسة أعمال اختارها الباحث بطريقة قصدية تخدم توجهات البحث، ومن ثم الفصل الرابع الذي تضمن الاستنتاجات التي تلخصت، أولا: أن النحت العراقي بصورة عامة ذو هوية ذات طابع دلالي وإشاري ورمزي خاص، يحمل في عمق مكوناته روح الأصالة الذائبة بالموروث الحضاري والفكري العريق، لأمة فنها راق ومتجذر وموغل بالقدم، نراه بشكله الحقيقي النقي بعراقة الجينة المتوارثة جيلا بعد جيل، والتي يتشرف بحملها كل مبدع عراقي، فالإبداع الذي حمل لوائه الرواد بهويته الخاصة المتحققة ببقاء البيئة التي ولدوا منها، وكونها محملة ومليئة بالإشارات والرموز، فلابد أن تنعكس واضحة بأغلب النتاجات الفنية والثقافية والإنسانية العائدة لها، سواء أكانت علمية أم عقائدية أم فكرية أم تاريخية ...إلخ، وبكل الصور، ما كان منها أسطوري أو ملحمي أو سردي أو وضعي...إلخ، كالحكايا الموروثة والعبر المنقولة والمأثورات الشعبية، ومنها على وجه الخصوص الأعمال الفنية، وبدقة الوصف فن النحت، من حيث هو السجل الأرقى الذي نقل لنا أغلب مفاصل هذه المعرفة عبر العصور. ثانيا: التأثير الدلالي والتأويلي، في الأعمال النحتية العراقية القديمة والحديثة، جزء مترابط لا يتجزأ من باقي مكونات العمل، فأغلب الأعمال النحتية الرافدينية، لابد لها أن تحمل بين جناباتها الكثير من الإشارات والرموز التي تترجم العلاقة الأزلية بين الفن والبيئة والفنان كدلالة بينة. ثالثا: أبجدية لغتنا متعددة المعاني ومختلفة اللهجات ومتنوعة الأسماء ومختلفة التأويلات، وإبداعات مبدعينا تعكس هذه الأبجديات بمختلف الطرائق، وأن حملت نفس المضامين الإشارية والرمزية. رابعا: من أهم مميزات العمل الفني التشكيلي النحتي العراقي.. هو احتوائه دلالات مختلفة، تزيد من تأثيره بالمتلقي العراقي الذواق. خامسا: المعرفة الأكاديمية للنحات مرتضى حداد وسعة موسوعيته الفكرية، مكنته من توظيف الرمز بالعمل، وربما بتوظيف العمل للرمز أحيانا، وهذه الخصوصية تجعل من هذه الأعمال متميزة تميزا مختلفا عما يميز المبدعين العراقيين الآخرين في هذه المجال. والتوصيات والمقترحات.
