المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى الوقوف على قضية المسكوت عنه في معجم المنجد لكراع النمل؛ من خلال عرض نماذج مدروسة لبعض ما سكت عنه من مواد المشترك اللفظي. وقد اتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي الذي يقوم على التتبع والاستقراء، ثم الجمع والتصنيف والدراسة والنقد. وهو مقسم إلى: مقدمة فيها عرض موجز للإطار المنهجي للبحث. وتمهيد: فيه التعريف بقضية المسكوت عنه. وخمسة مباحث، الأول منها: المسكوت عنه فيما أدرجه كراع تحت أعضاء البدن. والثاني: المسكوت عنه فيما أدرجه كراع تحت صنوف الحيوان. والثالث: المسكوت عنه فيما أدرجه كراع تحت ذكر الطير. والرابع: المسكوت عنه فيما أدرجه كراع تحت ذكر السلاح وما قاربه. الخامس: المسكوت عنه فيما أدرجه كراع تحت ذكر الأرض وما عليها. وخاتمة فيها أهم ما توصل إليه البحث. وفهارس. ومن أهم ما توصل إليه البحث أن لوحظ أن كراعا تطرق لبعض دلالات تحملها لفظة معينة، ثم سكت عن باقي دلالات تلك اللفظة، وسبب ذلك أنه قصد بهذا المعجم خدمة جيل مبتدئ سالك لطريق العلم، ممن كانوا يتلقون العلم على يديه، فجاء المعجم يقدم ومضات تنير دروب السالكين المبتدئين، كما كشف البحث عن عبقرية عالم لغوي واسع الثقافة، كثير الاطلاع، لم يأخذ حقه ولم يتبوأ مكانته بين أهل العربية.

This research aims to find out the issue of what is kept silent in the dictionary of the Munajjid to Karaa, by presenting studied examples of some of the materials of the verbal participant that are silent about him. The research followed the descriptive approach which is based on tracing and extrapolation, then collection, classification, study and criticism. It is divided into: An introduction in which a brief presentation of the methodological framework for the research. And a preface: it discusses the issue of the silent one in the objective order. And five sections, the first of which is the one who is silent about what he listed as a shepherd under the body. And the second: the one who is silent about what he listed as a shepherd under the animal's rocks. And the third: what is silent about what he listed as a shepherd under the mention of the bird. And the fourth: What is silent about what he listed as a shepherd under the mention of the land and what is on it. As for the conclusion, it includes the most prominent results of the search. And a conclusion in which the most important findings of the research and indexes One of the most important findings of the research is that it was noticed that Karaa touched on some of the connotations of a certain word, then kept silent about the rest of the connotations of that word, and the reason for that is due to either an oversight of it. For its uniqueness in this work; As it is the first to singled out the common verbal dictionary. Or because he intended by this dictionary to serve a beginner generation who walked the path of knowledge, who used to receive knowledge on his hands, so the dictionary came to present flashes that illuminate the paths of beginner walkers, as the search for the genius of a broad-educated linguist revealed that he did not take his right and did not assume his position among the people of Arabia
