|a يدور هذا البحث حول تطبيق المنهج السردي على القصة الشعرية؛ وذلك من خلال النظر إليها على أنها سرد قصة وخطاب في آن واحد له سماته، فالسرد في القصة يتطلب أحداثا متسلسلة وشخوصا وأزمنة معينة، وأمكنة معروفة، والخطاب يتطلب نسقا لغويا مختارا يؤدي في النهاية إلى عمل فني له قسماته الواضحة المعالم، وقد تحققت هذه المتطلبات الفنية في قصة "البخت النائم" التي تدور حول قضية من أخطر القضايا التي تواجه الإنسانية وهي السعادة والشقاء، والحظ اليقظ، والحظ العاثر، والقضاء والقدر

|b This study is about applying narrative approach to a poetic story. Through using it as a narrative and speech at the same time. Although each one of them has different features. Narrative in the story demands sequential events, characters, specific tenses and familiar places. Otherwise, speech needs a selected linguistic format that leads to eventually to artistic work with clear features. These artistic demands in the story of "The Sleeping Luck" are related to one of the most serious issues facing humanity and they are happiness, misery, good and bad luck, fate and destiny.
