The research deals with the image of horses according to one of the pre-Islamic poets who multiplied from the description of the horse and were counted from his description of the good ones: (Abu Dawad Al-Ayadi) whose poetry in describing the horse reached nearly half of his poetic product. The first is: the objective image: I explained the topics that required the presence of the Persians to the poet, namely: (hunting, war, and pride). The second is: the artistic image of horses in Abu Dawad Al-Ayadi's poetry, and it varied between (real photography and graphic imaging). Through the models of the poet the extent of his association - like other poets of his time - with the environment and its manifestations, and then employing it in drawing the aspects of the image, and the study also showed that the creativity of the poet in portraying his horses was born from the accuracy of the choice of pronunciation and good performance in drawing the image. There is no doubt that the pre-Islamic Arab has attached himself to his horse more than his attachment to what he does, because he is appointed to him to live with the pre-Islamic reality that is complex of difficulties, tragedies, competition, hardship and anxiety, as he sees in his horse a symbol of life that the pre-Islamic clings to as hope for the future
