المستخلص: فقد رغبت في التعريف بأحد أعلام النحو في تاريخ العراق الحديث ألا وهو الدكتور أحمد عبد الستار الجواري؛ الذي كانت له لمساته ومشاركاته النوعية المميزة في خدمة العربية على العموم وعلم النحو على وجه الخصوص، فضلا عن جهوده الكبيرة في المجامع العلمية العربية. لذا فكان بحثي موسوم ب (الدكتور أحمد عبد الستار الجواري وجهوده في تيسير النحو)، وقد قسمت هذا البحث على مبحثين: المبحث الأول: ترجمة الجواري. المبحث الثاني: جهوده في علم النحو، وختمت هذا البحث بخاتمة بينت فيها أهم النتائج. جمع الدكتور أحمد عبد الستار الجواري (رحمه الله تعالى) بين علوم العربية وبين العلوم الدينية، فكان هذا واضحاً في مؤلفاته التي عنيت بالجانب القرآني، لم تشغله المناصب الكثيرة التي تولاها عن التأليف والمشاركة الفعالة في نشاطات المجامع العلمية اللغوية. فقد ناقش الدكتور أحمد عبد الستار الجواري الآراء النحوية نقاشاً علمياً رصيناً، وهذا دلالة على عمق تفكيره، وعظم جرأته في مخالفة علماء النحو العمالقة. فنجد الجواري ميالا لاعتماد القرآن الكريم في استنباط القواعد النحوية، ولم يلجأ إلى التأويل والتقدير من أجل تسويغ مخالفة القرآن للقواعد الموضوعة في ضوء الشعر العربي. فهو صاحب دعوة رصينة لتجيد النحو، وعلوم اللغة العربية مع مراعاة التمسك بالأصول والثوابت. فقد دعا رحمه الله إلى إبراز روعة القرآن الكريم، ومضامينه الحقيقة في أكثر مؤلفاته.

I wanted to introduce one of the flags of grammar in the history of modem Iraq, namely Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar Al-Jawari, who had his distinctive touches and distinctive contributions in the service of Arabic in general and grammatical in particular, as well as his great efforts in the Arab scientific societies. This research was tagged (Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar Al-Jawari and his efforts in facilitating grammar). This research has been divided into two sections: The first topic: translation of Aljawari. The second topic: His efforts in grammar, and concluded this research with a conclusion that showed the most important results. Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar Al-Jawari (may Allah have mercy on him) gathered between the Arabic sciences and the religious sciences. This was evident in his works, which were concerned with the Qur’anic aspect. He did not occupy many of the positions he held for authorship and active participation in the activities of the linguistic scientific societies. Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar al-Jawari discussed the grammatical views of a solid scientific debate, and this is an indication of the depth of his thinking and his great courage in violating the great grammarians. Al-Jawari is inclined to adopt the Holy Quran in the development of grammatical rules, and did not resort to interpretation and appreciation in order to justify the violation of the Koran rules set in the light of Arabic poetry.
