المستخلص: يعد شعر أبي تمام علامة بارزة في تراثنا الشعري، ومع كثرة الأقلام التي تناولته قديما وحديثا، سيظل يعطي جديدا، وهذه سمة من سمات الأعمال الجيدة التي كتب لها الخلود، وربما خروجه عن عمود الشعر سر عبقريته وتفرده بين شعراء عصره. وقد أجاد أبو تمام عنصر التصوير إجادة رائعة، فأضفت الصورة على شعره هالة من الجمال، بما تمتلكه الصورة من انزياحات أسلوبية، ومن ثم تناول البحث في مبحثه الأول التشبيه بالدرس والتحليل كاشفا سماته الأسلوبية، ودلالته الإيحائية. وعرج على الاستعارة في المبحث الثاني، التي تعد من أهم السمات الأسلوبية في شعر أبي تمام، وقد كثرت الاستعارات في القصيدة مناط البحث بصورة لافتة، وتجلت دلالات الاستعارة في أثناء التحليل، وتبين أثرها في النسق الشعري، وبناء النص. وختم البحث بتحليل الصورة الكلية في القصيدة؛ وذلك في المبحث الثالث؛ فقد تضافرت الصور الكلية في النص ممثلة ضفيرة، واحدة، مما حققت لها وحدتها العضوية، ووجودها في القصيدة يدحض الرأي القائل: إن الشعر القديم لم يحفل بالصورة الكلية. وقد خالف أبو تمام طريقته في المزاوجة بين الصورة والجناس، نظرا لجو الحزن، ومقام الموت المهيب.

He achieved a good mastery in describing and picturing scenes, which added an aura of beauty to his poetry, with the stylistic displacement of the picture, then the research discussed the "Analogy" by studying and analyzing it, revealing its stylistic features and suggestive meanings. In the second part the research talked about the " Metaphor", which is one of the main stylistic features in Abo Tammam's poetry. By the way the poet of the research topic was clearly full of metaphors, where the meanings of metaphors were appeared through analyzing, with their effect on the poetic pattern and text construction. Then the research concluded in the third part by analyzing the overall picture of the poet, where the overall pictures in the text intertwined in one plexus, which achieved it its organic unity, and its presencein the poet refuted the opinion saying that: " Ancient poetry did not care about the overall picture". Abo Tammam dissented his method by pairing between picture and alliteration, due to the atmosphere of sadness and the terrifying situation of death. The research concluded by mentioning the most important results and a list of sources and references.
