The study aimed to identify the decisions of the Basel Committee and specifically in detail Basel III decisions. The study examined the impact of the implementation of Basel committee decisions on enhancing disclosure and transparency to improve the quality of components of bank capital, to show the extent to which banks comply with disclosure requirements in accordance with Basel III decisions, and to see if such disclosure will contribute to improving the quality of capital components in the banking sector. A field study was conducted to find out the opinions of bank managers and employees on the extent to which the application of Basel III decisions contributes to improving the quality of banking capital and its ability to protect depositors' funds and maintain the stability of the banking system, its coverage of the risks facing the Bank, and the extent to which it carries out the losses resulting from those risks, and a specialized questionnaire distributed to a sample of Egyptian commercial banks was designed. The study found a number of results, the most important of which were: 1. The decisions of the Basel III Committee are distinguished by your frustration with the quality of the money components in banks and the accounting capital disclosure. 2. The important effect of accounting disclosure in banks in limiting the occurrence of current and future financial crises in the banking sector, attracting new investors and preserving investor money, attracting deposits to the bank, increasing the bank’s efficiency, and the ability to absorb potential losses.
